That was the argument before it didn't happen. But, it's not Sanchez's fault. His defense blew most of the games, as per usual.

we won 8 games w/ awful QB play last year, very different than what Philly went through. Mark elevated that offense, they didn't win as much b/c:

    a) sched was MUCH tougher, faced all 4 of the final 4 NFC teams still playing
    b) the D never recovered from Ryans injury

this game isn't black and white, things change which is something the average fan doesn't understand.

LOL, we read about your superior football acumen several times a week. FYI, it is transparently insecure. No one who thinks they are THAT good feels the need to pronounce it all of the time. It's funny, because Rex does the same thing. The hot air is fun while it lasts, but ultimately, very empty. I see why you defend Rex so often.

No quarterback has ever "won" an NFL playoff game because football is a team sport and not an individual sport like, say, boxing or singles tennis. But, I digress . . .

Apparently things don't change for Sanchez, whose defenses always seem to let him down and whose turnovers always seem to either come in "garbage time" or be somehow irrelevant to the outcome of the game.

lol Demeco Ryans. Junc had no idea who he was or his role in Philly's d before he got hurt and latched onto it as the perfect excuse for why Sanchez blew it.

Gottcha. So the caveat of Sanchez taking the Eagles deep into January was that he had to face a soft schedule (minus the Redskins, I guess) and couldn't have any injuries.

Classic. You never fail to deliver sig-worthy idiocy. Thank you.

Who are these teams? A list, for comedic purposes only, please . . .

football is a team sport of course but w/o quality QB you aren't winning.

    lolololololololololololo

been a Demeco Ryans fan since his days in Houston, as usual you are wrong.

things change, he gave them a chance, he elevated that offense. he made some mistakes here and there, he could have been a little better but overall how could anyone have expected him to be much better? according to you guys he's the worst player in the league and can't play. I don't care how much talent you have around you if you can play you can't play(see Ryan Lindley).

Seattle and Denver easily. Cincy would be a contender as would Dallas. the only big teams that I don't think he'd be able to win w/ are GB and NE b/c the QB makes those teams.

I remember Sanchez vs Lindley in 2012.
was hard to tell who was worse, even though one was a third stringer, the other was an alleged starter.

This doesn't change the fact that using playoff wins to assess quarterbacks equipped with completely different rosters is silly. So, when you say things like: "Kyle Orton - The guy who has never won playoff game?", I say things like: "So . . .?"

when you have playoff caliber talent around you and you don't get there that is a problem. Kyle Orton is a man who lost his job to Rex Grossman and Tebow and saw Tim Tebow win a playoff game w/ a team Kyle couldn't even get in playoff contention.

Playoff wins and getting to the playoffs means more to me than meaningless Rivers like fantasy #s.

LOL. Denver wouldn't win 9 games with Sanchez. Their quarterback threw for 39 TDs, 15 INTS and over 4700 yards (Or does Peyton, aka "Mr. November," having nothing to do with them being 12-4???) If Sanchez threw in Denver as much as Peyton throws in Denver, they would lead the league in turnovers. Denver doesn't have the requisite running game to accommodate Sanchez. Sanchez needs a run-heavy offense to not shit the bed with his picks and untimely sack-fumbles. Cincy? Please. We are already seeing what Cincy would do with a Sanchez type . . . i.e. NOTHING. Dallas? See Denver.

Seattle would be your best best, and even then, the downgrade from Russell Wilson to Sanchez would be drastic, to say the least.

Nice try. It was smart to pick four of the most talented teams in the league . . . but, he still wouldn't win a SB with any of them.

he does have a lot to do with them winning but they are the most talented team in the league when healthy.

Denver can run, they choose not to.

most talented team in the league- like SD had for all those years yet never made a SB and only made 1 title game after Rivers got hurt and Volek led them to GW TD.

Well, Sanchez has only been to the playoffs twice in 5 tries, and this year, he failed to get there after inheriting a 6-2 team at the top of its division . . . So, I guess it doesn't mean as much to you as defending Mark Sanchez.

Rex opted for our third stringer, and McElroy ended up the best QB of the day (which isn't sayin much)..
