This whole Marrone didn't like Watkins trade has to be a product of Marrone's spin machine. He knows he barely has 50 percent support from Jets fans and that's why the Big Baby Huey left Buffalo because we all saw through his BS. He looks far worse if he's placing some of the blame for him quitting on his team and players on the fact that little Dougy didn't get his way on draft day...what a loser....good luck Jets, you can have him...I'd rather have no coach than this mess.

Your offense you keep saying was superbad. I'll take your word for it : except when you played against us and the great Rex Ryan defense. I thought they looked great.

I posted the stats in this thread.

Our offense was worse than the Geno Smith jets offense.

    Correct.

Which is why Schwartz gets most of the credit.

Did EJ ever have a 0 rating? Geno did. It's pretty hard to do.

Just to be clear. I don't like your city your team or your fans.
But at least I'm smart enuf to know that I can learn something in this case from your experience - unlike this Castor guy.

Did you guys see the Cowboys just go for 4th and 6 at the Lions 40, down by 3 points?

    Marrone won't go for that.

    Ever.

Even if you're down by 20.

Well they were pretty much middle of the pack in 4th down attempts which kinda debunks your theory. They were below average in 4th down conversions so maybe he was on to something?

No... Lol. It doesn't debunk my theory.

We still had to go for 4th down. It was just with 1 minute left and no chance left in the game. Instead of 5 minutes left and a shot. And they had a low 4th % because we were going for it with a minute left and usually in 4th and long and everyone knew we had to throw it. Diminishes your chances a bit. And by a bit I mean a lot.

You don't have to believe, just google "Marrone 4th down". It is widely documented by fans and journalists alike.

After six years of Rex, 4th and Marrone sounds pretty good to me. Thanks for the info. Btw we drove by Buff last summer but I was lucky enough to avoid it.

Did you guys notice that when people with no real facts to back it up want to ridicule a potential coach for the Jets they use the usual cliche....This Guy smacks of, is like, reminds me of, or could be Kotite 2? Where is the beef behind that statement?

I must have missed the part where Kotite took a perennial looser and gave them hope with a winning season without a legit QB and a marginal offense. LOL
