If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Also, I've always liked that the NFL playoffs were particularly hard to make. Not a fan.

Umm ur own packers were a wildcard team, I don't get why you are complaining.

And I disgree, these teams are capable of winning next week and I am positive at least one or two will.

Seriously? These days, wildcard teams winning the Superbowl is almost as normal as top seeds winning it.

    OMG You guys..

All I'm saying is that the divisional round is much, much more exciting. That's when you get to the actual SB favorites. Adding 2 more games to the WC weekend, would make the weekend more exciting.

If they still had Palmer they would probably have a bye week right now. Stanton wouldn't have made this game much more entertaining IMO.

My point is there are already teams in the playoffs that dont resemble playoff teams..to give 4 more teams entry would be silly.

Yeah, I'm sure a team from this weekend will win next weekend too. It just about always happens that way. All I'm saying is, the 1st game was stupid, and not entertaining. Neither team was going all the way. Everybody else was bitching during the game about how bad it was. This game on right now is between 2 teams that are basically the same team. So who cares who wins? Tomorrow, everybody knows the Colts are killing the Bengals. The quality of the games just isn't the same on WC weekend.

Umm 7 of the 14 teams played on wildcard.

And not for nothing but Carolina can beat seattle. They have been ultra competitive in the last three games against em, and lost 13-9 in late october.

You didn't explain anything. You just posted a link showing that TV ratings are up. Yeah no shit they are up. It's the NFL, which gets more, and more popular as the population grows. It doesn't take away my point that these games are not as exciting as the games next week will be.

I like that it's difficult to make the playoffs and not like other leAgues with way too many wild cards, useless playoff games and half the league making the playoffs.

I also like that it places an emphasis on winning your division, which I view as an accomplishment I don't think they should take away, yes even with seeing a 7 win division winner today. They should keep it as is..

Also in the example posted its would be BS because you are giving the no. 1 seed too many advantages, home field AND being the only one with a bye.

I'm sure SOME people care. You can't take every single word so literally. It's just not the same level of excitement on WC weekend.

You already said half the teams that play Wildcard week aren't real contenders. So why add two more even lower teams.

Well it would be more football, and a better chance for the jets right?

The way I see it neither Arizona or Carolina have a real chance making that game nearly pointless.

Pittsburgh and Baltimore both have decent chances making this a decent game to watch. To me they are clones of each other.

Cincinnati has no realistic chance but the Colts might.

Both Dallas and Detroit could do damage in the playoffs.

So in conclusion, the winners of today are both quite a moot point. Tomorrow, the Colts will win, and then the best game will be last.

They also blew out both division rivals on the road that were also fighting for that division title in the process. (41-10 and 34 -3).
They are an extremely young team that is gelling and playing some of the best football that anyone has the last month.

You can joke all you want about there record or shitty offense.
But they have Cam who even when playing like shit can make plays, a balanced running game and a stout defense up front.
They have one of the best line backing corps in the league.
