This poll was 2-1 in favor of Marrone two days ago and now it's against Marrone. And giving most of the credit to Schwartz. If he's so great than hire him. You're actually listening to these Bills trolls who expected him to go to the Super Bowl this year. Their franchise was crap until he came aboard.

Are you saying this in the best interest of the Jets franchise. Thanks for nothing then. I thought you wanted us to lose.

Bills fans have a much better understanding of Marrone than you. They are not the reason for my stance but they have confirmed what I already researched.

You do not research anything and your arguments almost never make any sense.

The guy hasn't accomplished shit, yet, hes supposed to be our beat option?

I'm not buying it, nor is more and more people as they do research on the guy and come to their own conclussions.

He's not the best hire out there. We will be miserable with this guy as HC.

If hes not the best hire out there than who is. Theres really not many good candidates out there. Im not a big fan of Marrone he's a very underwhelming signing but hes not a disaster by any means. Hes been a head coach for 2 years its not much time to accomplish anything. He did take a horrible losing franchise to its first over 500 season in as long as I can remember.

If the Bills were thinking about hiring Rex I wouldn't go to a Bills forum and talk shit about Rex just because I want the Bills to lose? Not everyone is like that.

I would tell Bills fans they are getting a very good coach, no question in my mind.

I would say this because that is what I believe to be true. Even though both fan bases want the other fan base to lose, doesn't meant everybody in each fan base is a complete ass hat douche.

What research. That he doesn't like the press. As far as I'm concerned that's a positive. PS the guy gets them a winning season for the first time in years and they say: That's not enough! He didn't get us into the playoffs. What a bunch of dipshits.

I would take anyone other than Gable over Marrone.

That's how convinced I am that he would be an absolute awful hire.

Going the coordinator route isn't so bad, people just try to associate past years with it.

Every great coach came from a coordinator position though, it's just the way it is.

Yet most fans want a retread coach at the wheel, even though there is no accomplished retread coach out there. At least not championship accomplished.

Marrone falls well short of even being accomplished. He's just not.

Big fucking deal? He had one winning record with the Bills. As bad as that team had been, its almost harder to be that bad for that long. That's the accomplishment you are going to hang your hat on?

Who cares about that? It was bound to happen and it happened in spite of his shitty offense.

That team wasn't as bad you think....look at their defense....their offense too...Sammy Watkins...Spiller/Jackson...they have better talent on both sides of the ball than NY.....Lets not forget it was MARRONE who wanted EJ Manuel when NO ONE had him going in the first round....the only QB worse than Geno Smith ...Doug Marrone drafted in the 1st friggin round.....then benches his own f^ck up less than a year later......sign the beast!

So you're saying it was Marrone's call on selecting Manuel. That's like saying Rex chose Geno.

Dude, why are you so upset? Bills fans are just telling you what to expect.

I happen to think Marrone is a pretty good coach.

But lets be honest, the majority of his wins in Buffalo he can thank Schwartz and Pettine for. HIS offense did absolutely nothing.

What would Bills fans have reason to bash Marrone for? How are they "dipshits"? They're just telling you the truth. You talk about a winning record. Thats because of our defense.

I was referencing the Bills losing season since 2004. It was only a matter of time before they finally had a winning season.

You are right about their talent, honestly feel with that roster and a better HC, they would've/should've been in the playoffs.

Schwartz was a lousy head coach. And you can't give the DC (over the head coach) the credit for a good season. The one guy who tried doing that was Buddy Ryan when he tried to upstage Ditka when he was with the Bears. And Pettine was known here as Rex's key leak. He didn't do such a great job as a head coach, either after a good start. I'll tske Marrone over those guys.

How so? Im talking Bills....it was a first round selection on a team that was going QB....not second pick on a team who's dynamic was different than Buffalo... It was Buddy Nix and Marrone who wanted EJ Manuel......over his own former player...Ryan Nassib

Look I'm not defending Marrone. I don't know who made that decision. I just know it was a bad one.

@AdamSchefter: Trying to capitalize on HC shakeups, Redskins asked for, but were denied, permission to speak with Bills DC Jim Schwartz about their DC job.

Bills smart to deny requests. If he's hired as HC and brings in a good offensive mind the Bills will have gotten better.

He alone was the reason for the turnaround in Buffalo...and they know that...

Yes, good coordinator, bad head coach. Happens all the time.

You absolutely can give the DC credit when the head coach is an offensive coach and that part of the team sucked.
