Matt Miller retweeted a source with a report that Chip Kelly has asked out of his contract. I'm on my phone so I can't link it.

Tom Gamble, vice president of player personnel, was fired earlier this week, ripping the lid off of the growing tension between head coach Chip Kelly and general manager Howie Roseman. Both Roseman and Kelly have gone dead silent since the firing, declining requests for interviews from NJ Advance Media and other news outlets. Here is everything you might have missed from the firing of Gamble while you were celebrating the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015: Gamble fired: The Eagles announced the move at 2:16 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, with a one sentence statement from Roseman. Kelly was not mentioned. Details of bad blood between Chip and Howie: The firing of Gamble was a win for Roseman, and a loss for Kelly in their struggle for power in the Eagles' organization. Tension building in NovaCare Complex: A feud between Kelly and Roseman is not the only bad blood in the building. Tension is growing among Eagles' scouts towards their general manager. Chip leaving?: The idea would have been crazy a week ago, but with Gamble gone, it looks like Kelly would be the next one out the door — not Roseman. Forced out: The firing was announced as a mutual parting of ways, but reports say that Gamble had to be escorted out of the building after he was let go. Chip or Howie? If it comes down to a decision between his head coach and general manager, who would owner Jeffrey Lurie decide to keep? Vote here on who you trust more. Howie to Jets?... It looks like Roseman was planning his exit should Lurie have picked to keep Gamble, reportedly talking to the New York Jets about their search for a new general manager. ...Or not: Those conversations with the Jets? Reports indicate that they were aboutRick Mueller, the Eagles' director of player personnel, not Roseman bolting to New York.
Yeah, I couldn't copy the article on my phone, so I just sent the link here. Now the post is updated.
Well - Gamble being unemployed is free to talk to Kelly and the Jets are free to talk to Gamble. So if the Jets told Gamble they'd be interested in him with a certain coach he had experience with and Gamble who isn't employed by the Jets hypothetically talked to Kelly about it, it's not tampering, is it?
LOL.... I actually downloaded the rule the other day after Woody's comment regarding Revis. I'll check
I'm a bit pessimistic that if Kelly were to get out of his contract, that he would want to come to NY. The 49ers would be a much more desirable for him. Could you imagine Kaepernick running that offense?
alot of smoke there, carousel is still spinning. if eagles are going to let him out they have to move in the next 48hrs.
And where there's smoke there's......... Going to be quite an interesting weekend. We have so much to offer Kelly if he becomes available.
