Jamies is the better player to imo, just the off the field issues has hurt his status, which is reasonable. I think Oregon wins though today, FSU isnt as good as Oregon, but I guess we will see.....
Mariota looks very mediocre so far... Oregon has a really gimmicky offense and the kid sailed some easy throws
Both have thrown a few that should gave been picked. I think it more that neither are really that top notch guy -- like Luck was. I do think Mariotta has a little intangible quality too him like Russel Wilson.
I agree w everything you said here. Especially the Russell Wilson comparison. That play he just had where he had pressure up the middle and got out of it and rolled to the right and hit the wr who was planted right in the middle of the field was very Wilsonesque
EXACTLY, been saying this all year, FSU's defense isnt even special but at least they have more than one week to prepare for it which none of the other Oregon opponents had. Alabama would smother this team if they played..... Like someone said on TV, two years ago Geno was being deemed the #1 pick around december of last year, then last year same with Manziel. Both dropped, Mariotta will drop, been saying it forever. He is not NFL starting material.
Well that is what this new playoff is all about isn't. I live in SEC country, but I think the PAC-12 is underrated. I would love to see Oregon/Alabama for the NC.
Foolish decision by Oregon to kick it deep after the personal foul, kicking from 15 yards ahead, you go for the onside kick don't kick it through the end zone and give it to them on their 25
A thing of beauty? Lmfao!! I like Mariota a lot. I am a huge Winston fan, but I think Mariota is very very talented. That was a wide open pass that any QB in college could make lol give me a break
