He doesn't have the hands and route running OBJ and Mike Evans got, so I guess that's what make the difference somehow. 982 yards and 6 touchdowns in his rookie season is still impressive for Watkins.

Thanks for posting, but how can he not be in the red against Miami after that huge miss?

A huge miss but maybe a 99-yard run counts against him the same way a 20-yard run would. He let up that TD but it's not Pryor's fault there was no FS back to stop a large gain.

It's impressive given the QBs he had throwing to him, and that he was a rookie, but if you're using 2 first round picks
to get a non-QB, has to be a Lawrence Taylor, JJ Watt, Deon Sanders caliber superstar to justify it.

If Watkins ends up just being an above-average receiver, then the Bills got screwed. They already had Stevie Johnson, who they let go - so basically Watkins is just replacing him, freeing up a few million dollars in cap space in exchange for 2 first round draft picks. I don't understand what they were thinking, unless they see Sammy Watkins as the next Jerry Rice. Even still, it was beyond stupid to ditch Stevie Johnson - it's like they don't even want a good passing attack.

PFF grades are strange and often way off. Pryor is a bust through year 1, everyone who watched knows that.

Pryor obviously was a disappointment. Excuses have been made, though, and they may have some merit, especially the poor Cb play affecting the overall secondary, and related was the assessment he was not really playing the kind of D he is best at.

But that cuts both ways since it seems to underscore he has some issues with versatility and flexibility. My main concern was he seemed to be out of position too often, and could not make up for it with speed. Why this was going on is hard to say, and of course the main thing is going forward whether he will improve. But right now he is far from a proven success as a first round pick.

    This just isnt true.

Most fans notice a particular player once or twice during an entire game. And they notice that player most when he makes mistakes; Pryor missing tackles, for example.

PFF watches and grades every player on every single play, whether or not they get near the ball. They do what average fans cannot so, "everybody" does not in fact have a perfect understanding of how Pryor has played. We can't even see him on the tv the vast majority of the time, so how do we really know how well he performed?

He made some terrible mistakes but do you really have the audacity to say that you know Pryor is a bust after his rookie year?

Move Pryor to the SS position where his skill set best fits and have Coples' hand in the dirt rushing the passer every down. Use him like J Abe...
