I'm not trying to be a smartass. I'm stuck here in Billsland and have seen this very close up. I'm very worried what Woody will do. I know that if he goes the Marrone route we will turn into an unimaginable sinkhole. Thought it was bad before? Just wait. Listen to BigGreenUgly. He knows whereof he speaks.
Heck, you don't have to be from Bills land to know this. All you have to have is DirecTV and the Sunday Ticket to watch every game to know that Marrone is NOT what the Jets need. I laugh at the thought of it. I laugh at all the people who wanted Rex out the door and are excited about this guy. I'm telling you, if Marrone had a plan and the plan was the NY Jets then I'm not sure what I'm going to do.
Sadly that's what it's like for the Jets. It just never comes together for this team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Everyone clamored for someone to come in that can develop a young QB. I mean, maybe it's just me, but did anyone miss the first two years of EJ Manuel's career? He got worse. Not to mention he never should have been drafted in the first round let alone how high in the first round he went. Again, I have to ask, what does Marrone bring to the table whatsoever?
Hue Jackson is a turd. He should be on the bottom of any list. His entire career is short stops, never been anywhere or in a position long enough to prove anything.
This thread was a good idea.. DM is a terrible, terrible, terrible, option. I can't even believe this is a consideration, It's extremely embarrassing to be honest. I feel like we are really be laughed at right now because It shows WJ really doesn't get it. He really doesn't fucking get it.
Yeah none of these guys inspires much hope. They're all Meh candidates. The Jets need to think outside the box and go talk to Shaw and Malzahn in college asap. Make one of them a big offer. F these NFL retreads which this whole list is. Sumlin came out yesterday and said he's staying in college after several teams inquired about him. Also, get Gamble in here as the GM as he knows player personnel inside and out and played a big part in building the current Philly roster.
Any facts to back up Jackson being a better head coach than Marrone? Facts, not media opinion..... I don't care whose offense is better. Both have been head coaches and one had a winning season, the other did not. Not saying Marrone is a good choice, but I need to see evidence that others are better options.
You nailed it right here...the Fuckin' NY Jets NEVER seem to be in the right place at the right time. EVER!!!!!! Marrone is NOT the answer! I find it absolutely HILARIOUS that some of you find this a "good" thing. LOL We can do a hell of a lot better. Sadly, yet again, as some have pointed out...there is nothing but shit and suck ass available as HC material. This is REALLY typical NY Jets at this point. What a sad damn waste...
They were a lot better with Gruden last year. He just took an O with a lot of talent and they got worse. And I am in no way arguing for Marone. All I am saying is he should be miles ahead of Jackson on the search list.
See previous post. Also see Cinci's O ranking - 15 th overall. Marrone - like 29 or 30. Something like that.
The same guy responsible for helping out his current team in the Bengals with that laughable Carson Palmer trade? That's the kind of evaluating Hue brings to the table? He's not a bad signal caller but don't give him any power. The GM will need to call the shots.
