It would be a real good signing. His team played good and sometimes great football this past season. Similar personnel too and Qb situation. Marrone went with a good vet Qb and won over a mistake prone second year guy. I think he wouldn't leave the Bills without a deal in place. If he comes to the Jets he isn't showing much loyalty to the team that gave him a chance to be a head coach in the NFL for an Afc East rival. Could be he's not going to the Jets. Esp since Woody is working with a league program. I could see San Fran which is a desirable job.
Did the Bill's lose eight straight games? - No. Did the Bill's bench their QB when it was necessary? - Yes!
Rex was not a good coach and people should really stop suggesting he was. he's a GOOD GUY. Not a good coach
I think it is all but a lock that by early next week he is hired as the Jets coach, and someone who has a connection to Marrone is hired as the gm.
Wonderful lol it doesn't matter who we hire I'm gonna think its not good enough, but out of everyone available Marrone is the best option no doubt
He is not a bad candidate though, I think he will bring something....people expecting Harbaugh to come right in, doesnt happen ever.
Yea he must not be ,How many head coaches get looks for another HC job 3 days after being fired for going 4-12?And missing the playoffs 4 years in a row and he will get one of these jobs.
well it looks like more people have shot their wad over marrone here than I thought.....that surprises me a bit..... watch him sign with another team. LOL
Can you imagine if Rex takes the Bills job and brings in Sanchez to be his QB,how weird would that be
Here is another question, who gets the Bills job? Seems perfect for a guy like Quinn or Bowles to inherit.
Ive been thinking that Rex and Sanchez reunite whether it be in Chicago or even Atlanta (as a backup to Ryan)....but damn imagine if its on the Bills? that team could have success.
If he brought Westhoff back, i'd warm up to the idea a little.. it's definitely not an upgrade over Rex though.
It would be weird, but great for us. Then we get to lick our chops at playing Sanchez and "send the house on 3rd and long" twice a year.
No team with Mark Sanchez as its QB can have success. Not one. The Jets didn't when they had to even remotely rely on Sanchez, and the Eagles didn't when they needed Sanchez. It's time to call a spade a spade - Mark Sanchez is simply not an NFL caliber QB. And no matter what uniform he wears, that is not changing.
