Hopefully reinforcements at CB with Milliner and McDougle(spelling) coming back.

It's gonna be a fun and interesting off-season, lots of cap space, high draft picks, new GM and Coach, lots of changes.

Stephen Hill didn't drop a single regular season pass this year.

    D-line is solid.
We get a pass rushing end and improve the CB position, switch Pryor back to his natural position, and look out!

Demario Davis! What a year he had, definitely progressing into our new top dog at LB. Him paired with another guy of his skill set could be scary. Another run stopping MLB isn't as necessary here with our d-line. I liked his motor throughout the year he was sideline to sideline and in the QB's face. Dude gotta learn how to catch because he's pretty good dropping back in zone but he dropped like every pick he could've had .

If we still had Rex that would be true. ...now, who knows who we will get to coach the team.

He played a rookie season and missed his second season due to injury, I'm not saying he is going to be a top 10 CB, but I'm not going to give up on him as a potential and solid starter.

While I too "CAN'T WAIT" [say like Bart Scott] to upgrade the right side of the line, I'd be remiss not to mention that I heard or read somewhere (still trying to find where) that Geno had one of the highest if not the highest average time in the pocket in the NFL. We also finished 3rd in rushing after finishing 6th the year before. All this to say, the demise of the o-line has been greatly exaggerated.

Hmmm, running the football is one thing. Cause, really, who cares? Running and scoring seemingly are two different things. So, I'd still say the OL sucks. cause when defenses decided to stop it, they were able to.

Stanford product. I believe he and Stephen Hill had the fastest times in the 2012 draft. However, he's more than just fast. Unlike Hill, he's a good route runner and has good ball skills; he also has return skills. He went un-drafted because teams were afraid of how many concussions he had in college. He fits the mold of the talented but has injury concerns type Idzik seems to gravitate to. It's great gamble when grabbing players from the street; not so good when it's day 1 and 2 of the draft.

Rex is not the be all/end all of defense man. Players make plays, we've got a good unit.

Only positives I took from this season are Shelly Richardson, Chris Ivory, and Chris Owusu...

And his snaps diminished through the course of the season to the point where he had little to no defensive snaps near the end. It's an indictment on him when you consider how thin we were at CB. It also shines a light on one of Rex's many flaws of being loyal to a fault. Wilson has been ass since he got to NY but Rex continued to trot him out there week after week. Yet in his final days/weeks decides to play undrafted guys off the street and converted safeties rather than Kyle.

this statement seems contradictory: he was loyal to a fault but then he benched Wilson for others...Maybe he was loyal because nobody else showed anything. I think Wilson's issues were all in his head: he understood the defense, probably practiced ok, but when it came to the game, he panicked.

He benched Wilson for others after 5 years of poor play. Though I doubt one can do worse than Wilson, you may be right about nobody else showing anything; I guess we'll never know. Lastly, I really could care less about the root cause of Wilson's suckiness.

Why didn't they consider playing Wilson at FS?
