UNLV takes down Arizona in Vegas..... great game. We played a great game, Rashad Vaughn and Chris Wood had a fantastic game.

Big win, our guy Chris Wood who is one of the most frustrating players to watch as he's 6'11 and camps out 23 feet from the rim looking to be Kevin Durant decided to finally play down low in the post and was by far and away the best player on the court. Arizona didn't look as good as advertised and after UTEP gave them a game the other night I thought we could hang but I didn't think we would win.

Pretty cool to think that this game was won by a bunch of freshman and a sophomore. Vaughn was as good as advertised and maybe the unheralded hero was Patrick McCaw who played over 30 minutes off the bench at PG

One of the most prolific scorers in Boise State men's basketball history will not play the rest of this season.

Senior guard/forward Anthony Drmic will undergo season-ending ankle surgery next week. Drmic has missed the Broncos' last six games. Coach Leon Rice initially rested Drmic to take care of a back injury he'd tried to play through after falling hard when being fouled Nov. 18, but his nagging left ankle had continued to deteriorate during the season. Drmic said before the season the ankle, which has bothered him most of his career, was still giving him pain and had hoped it would improve, but it only worsened. The Broncos expect they will be able to obtain a medical redshirt for Drmic once the season is completed, which will enable him to play the 2015-16 season

Big East play opens up tomorrow. SJU plays at 12 at Seton Hall. SHU is alright, but they're missing their best freshman, whitehead. I'm hoping for an easy win...but wouldn't be shocked if we lost.

Close to 10,000 showed up. Saturday against Villanova may be a sell-out.

10,000 is impressive for a 20,000 seat arena:D I bet most of that building will be 'Nova fans.

For a noon start on a Wednesday in a metropolitan area with three hockey teams, two basketball teams, two football teams, and two baseball teams? I say VERY impressive.

it's not impressive at all, our 2 "marquee" college teams couldn't half fill an arena when one of the teams is a top 15 team. It's a joke, college sports are a joke here. this is a pro town, very few people care about college sports around here which is why SH and SJ always have more opposing fans in their buildings than they do fans of their programs.

were the 3 hockey teams(the devils are like a minor league team around here), Jets and Giants, Yanks and Mets, Knicks and Nets playing at the same time? what do they have to do w/ the awful fanbases of SH and SJU?

there's nothing impressive about 10,000 which I would bet included many discounted/free seats.

You made two blatantly contradictory statements within the same post, proving you have arguments with the voices in your head.

you are making stuff up again. Nice job against Seton Hall by the way.

Big week for the Heels, ND in Chapel Hill tonight then Louisville on Saturday. They have been playing really well of late, let's hope that continues.

The other voice in your head is disagreeing with you. Can't you hear it?

The only shame I feel in losing that game is the horrific free-throw shooting from my team. In this case, the better team won. I have no shame in losing in 2OT in front of 10,000+ fans against a team with two losses, both on the road BTW, against Wichita State and Georgia. Seton Hall will be nationally ranked this week.

I understand that the concept of depth within a conference is foreign to you as the ACC has been a two-team conference for most of the past 10 years, prior to their annexing of half the Big East to achieve depth.

I think those voices you are hearing are from Gonzaga.

wow! how did 'Nova even compete in a 20,00 seat arena filled up w/ 10,000 "fans" many of whom were probably rooting for 'Nova. what guts!

SH lost to Georgia by 18 pts and Georgia lost to Gonzaga by 12 so SH that must mean 'Nova would lose to Gonzaga by 35:D

10,000 fans is twice the average sized arena in the WCC. How "gutless" is Gonzaga?

Gonzaga can fill up opposing buildings, I guess 'Nova can't. then again no one can at SH and other BE schools.
