I thought it might be fun to try to predict the winner, and final score, of all of the wild card games this coming weekend, and then to try to project the rest of the playoffs up to the super bowl. Might help us get our minds off the depressing season the Jets just had anyway!

    Here's mine:

    NFL Wild Card Weekend

    Saturday, Jan. 3
NFC: 4:35 p.m. (ET) Arizona at Carolina: Panthers 38, Cards 10

AFC: 8:15 p.m. (ET) Baltimore at Pittsburgh: Steelers 23, Ravens 20

    Sunday, Jan. 4
AFC: 1:05 p.m. (ET) Cincinnati at Indianapolis: Colts 27, Bengals 22

NFC: 4:40 p.m. (ET) Detroit at Dallas: Cowboys 30, Lions 24

    NFL Divisional Playoffs

    Saturday, Jan. 10
    AFC:
4:35 p.m. (ET) Indianapolis at New England: Pats 26, Colts 20

    NFC:
8:15 p.m. (ET) Carolina at Seattle: Panthers 16, Seahawks 13

    Sunday, Jan. 11
    NFC:
1:05 p.m. (ET) Dallas at Green Bay: Packers 31, Cowboys 20

    AFC:
4:40 p.m. (ET) Pittsburgh at Denver: Broncos 27, Steelers 17

    AFC Championship Game

    Pats 30, Broncos 27

    NFC Championship Game

    Packers 38, Panthers 20

    SUPER BOWL

    Packers 37, Patriots 27

    My prediction:This thread gets moved

You have the Panthers beating the Cardnials and the Seahawks? I can almost guarntee you they won't beat the Seahawks if they get past Arizona

I think the Panthers should be heavy favorites over the Cards (since they're down to their 3rd string QB), and the Panthers beating the Seahawks was my one big upset.
...Why should this thread get moved?

Winners first weekend of games: Arizona, Pittsburg, Cincinnati, Detroit

It's absolutely stupid to predict anything further since it will automatically be wrong if you mess up on the first round.

Yeah because no contest ever does anything like that.

My NCAA March Madness pool always goes one round at a time.

I know, but imagine if you get it right beyond the wild card games? Much harder I know, but still easier than trying to predict the super bowl winner in the preseason. You can always post again after the divisional games are set, and after the championship games are set, but why not try swinging for the fences now, just for fun?

It's impossible for the Patriots to be eliminated from the playoffs by the Steelers in the divisional round.

Is there any word on the severity of the Leveon Bell injury? Didn't he hurt his knee Sunday? If he is out I can't see the Steelers advancing, just my opinion though.

I think he means if the Steelers win they would play in Denver, so therefore it is impossible for them to beat NE in the divisional round.

My only prediction is that either the Ravens or Steelers will beat the Patriots in Foxboro. Whoever wins the wildcard game.
