Happy Holidays to you to. I really do wish you earn a trip to the Super Bowl, with my ultimate fantasy being that you lose the game in David Tyree fashion.

This mean Hundley is the favorite to be our QB next season too?

    Say hello to 4-12.

Mortensen just said on Countdown that Rex isn't definitely gone, and he's cleaned out his desk before. He also said that Idzik is gone.

Hundley, Mariotta, Winston --- in reality not much difference -- all have the potential to be okay NFL QB's or be crap. None of them will ever be in the upper tier elite.
It all depends on how they are coached and developed.

I would hope that whomever our coach and GM are that if we got any on those three that NONE of them would be starting right away.
I personally prefer Hundley over the other 2 mostly because we wouldn't be giving up a high first pick on a gamble and can get a real blue chipper.

Yeah.. That dawned on me too... Here we go again saddling GM's with HC's. I wonder sometimes just how thickheaded Woody Johnson really is if these reports are true.

Get ready for the Mora Jr/Hundley era Jets fans. We're probably trading up for Hundley lol.

Big numbers/chances for Shaq Evans though. That chemistry with Hundley.

I don't get why Jim Mora would automatically mean Brett Hundley lol

Hundley in the second round I called 2 weeks ago sign a vet and draft a qb in the 2nd/3rd round till you hit on one or you trade up if you are convinced you have found one

It is true that its no slam dunk, ask Ryan Nassib how much loyalty Doug Marrone had for him but given the QB crop this year, it is a distinct possibility. Hundley wasn't a Mora Jr recruit but he was his QB for his 3 years at UCLA and will go to fight for him during this draft process for being a reason why Mora Jr's coaching career has gotten resurrected as far as respectability goes.

I don't know why Mora Jr would leave UCLA though, he fizzled out in Seattle after Atlanta and UCLA is such a good home for him. He's in a really good spot, he's brought UCLA back on the map in California recruiting after the disaster of Neuheisel.

Its all that was said when the Bills hired Marrone. That he was gonna take Nassib.

On one hand it makes sense cause of the system..on the other hand this aint UCLA.

Oh yes, please god. Rex the Clown and Idzik the Muppet, gone all at the same time.

I will admit to not knowing shit about Jim Mora Jr. other than being Jim Mora's son so hopefully, the guy knows what he's doing.

Idzik firing is lame. Not nearly enough time to judge his performance. Rex, should be done.

Idzik navigated the ship out of cap hell, Rex lost winnable games due solely to poor situational/game management.

    ...and the heat goes on

So why not hire the GM and then let him hire the coach?

Great post. I agree. I would not mind Mora for the reasons you mention.

I also like hundley. Hire Mora, draft the stud WR cooper in the 1st and hundley in the second.

    It doesn't.

Everyone thought Marrone was going to pick Nassib.
Everyone thought Seattle was going to acquire Sanchez.
    The list goes on...
