Carr had just about as little a chance starting with an expansion team that Geno did with the 2009-2012 draft classes being the foundation of the team.

Do the Jets do anything right? This is the most fucked up organization in sports.

Nicely summarized DK. The final results demand better.

For this team sake whatever personnel changes are made hereon out, they better bear results that far and exceed the record above.

We can argue about Rex's performance all day long, from totally unacceptable to mediocre to best with what he got. To some extent perhaps the victim of circumstances beyond any one persons control. It really doesn't matter, did not cut the mustard, did not provide a winning team and the indication to become a perennial division contender as a minimum.

So the goals for the next coach and Leadership team are pretty clear, only variable is how many seasons do we allow them to achieve our expectations before we start this miserable cycle again.

The Ball is squarely with Woody. It is 4th and long, long, long for the Jets and we need a first down. A first of many. Woody's moves this year need to be comprehensive and well thought out, fixing the root cause problem once and for all. The results are crucial and pivotal to either a bright future or another long and winding round of mediocrity and suffering.

If Bradway stays, I have no hope in the Jets future.

He also took Mario Williams ahead of Reggie Bush which everyone at the time thought was crazy....but, he made the right decision

Drafting Carr wasn't a bad move. Failing to protect him with a competent o-line; thus letting him get beat up like a human pinata was the bad move.

I don't care what the haters have to say, I KNOW he has faults, but I'm still gonna miss Rex. Wanted him to be the guy. Given the right OC and GM he could have been more successful. However, I think it's something he'll learn from in his future. Who really picked the OC's for this team? Was it really Rex?

This article sounds like pure speculation to me.

Regardless.. If Woody does clean house, I have no trust in the guy to find the right people for the job. I feel this is the best he could've done for a coach. Still wasn't enough because he didn't have a scouting minded GM in there while Rex was here.

I feel like if we only would've brought in people to help work around those little area's of concern with this team, you know, finding LEGITIMATE talent to replenish this roster so that this team could flourish in the present and future.....

We may have been a consistent Superbowl contender.

Shit, what do I know though?

No coach had as much support as Rex Ryan from the fans perspective. It's a shame he didn't give back by becoming a more well-rounded coach. I will miss Rex.

I don't think OC was the problem this year.

I love how people are trying to crush Casserly and his picks. The guy's never gonna even sniff our draft room.

He's a guy, like him or not as a fan, who has tremendous respect and contacts throughout the league.

His one and only job is to use his connections to find and persuade the best possible candidates to take the job. That's it!

Beats the hell out of a bunch of commission grabbing, football ignorant suits picking names out of a hat like last time.

Chill peeps. Woody may have actually learned his lesson this time.
