I was watching the ESPN documentary about the University of Miami this weekend. In it they showed fans flying a plane over the Orange Bowl wanting Butch Davis fired- the same Butch Davis that stockpiled al that talent for the '01 title team and would have been a dynasty if Davis stayed. Fans should stick to cheering for their teams, not trying to make football decisions.
& I saw the fire JI billboard for the 1st game as it was shown by CBS & that made me chuckle & say hooray

Are U comparing our great idzick to Butch Davis? lol Fans cheer when they win and whine when they lose. But when your teams shats the bed, the GM looks clueless, and faith is lost in the management, than we have the right to to bitch and do whatever, to let the owner know the buck stops here.

15,000 towels distributed in less than 1 hour. We could have distributed three times as much if we had tge money to print them. They did not show well on tv bc people didnt know when to wave them... That is our fault for not organizing that aspect better. Doesn't change the fact that even Ray Lucas commented in the postgame show how shocking it was to see so many in the stadium. I walked around the lot personally and met tens of thousands of Jets fans who were anti-Idzik. I met two TOTAL tailgate groups (about 30 people) who supported Idzik and didnt want the towels. Jets fans have spoken. Wait until you see the video of the parking lot. It speaks volumes.
We were rooting for the Jets to win... We just weren't clear enough about what people should do with the towels and when to wave them.
