I just saw this little poem posted on another site and thought I would share it on this board:

From DC comes a team named the Skins
That only could manage 4 wins
    Their trademark ain't leagal
    but they bitch-slapped the Eagles
And now Tony Romo just grins

Eagles are hoping Arizona can beat the Seahawks on Sunday because the Bucs aren't beating the Packers. If the Seahawks win also the Eagles are eliminated.

I thought Philly could still win the division, if they win next week and the Cowboys lose out?

Yep. Was just going to post this as being official. In that scenario, Philly would win the tie-breaker because of better division record (4-2 vs. 3-3)

Can't wait to see the @nyjunc spin on tonight's typical Sanchez performance.

I will give you some Junc spin. Sanchez despite ending the game like Sanchez is playing substantially better than he ever has played with the Jets. He is like a different QB. The biggest difference is he is not playing scared. He is not panicking, shuffling his feet, and dropping his head in the pocket. He is actually setting his feet when he throws the ball which greatly improves his accuracy and velocity. He is stepping up in the pocket and not going into panic mode while under a rush. He is taking hits and not giving up. If he played like this with the Jets he might still be playing. I think the time off and realization that his NFL career was hanging by a thread has motivated him to work hard and made him willing to start sacrificing his body rather than focusing on partying and making naked videos of himself like he did with the jets.

The up tempo Philly offense,is not too complex for Sanchez and requires little thinking. Just reacting, plays to Sanchez's strengths as his biggest problem is when he has to think and make decisions. When he thinks only bad things can happen. While the offensive system, McCoy and Sproles along with the WRs make the QB's job in Philly pretty easy, Sanchez should be given credit for reinventing himself and putting in the work to become a better QB. Despite the mistakes he is far better than he ever was with the Jets. While he will never be better than Peyton manning as Junc claimed in a series of posts in 2012 where he claimed that Manning was just a product of good talent in Indy and that Manning will fail badly in Denver as he perceived Denver's talent to be very poor. Sanchez improving may also not make him worthy of being a starting NFL QB, but he is much improved from where he was with the Jets and he should be given credit for the improvements he has made.

    Uhm,
Except he IS still doing a lot of these things - in point of fact, he displayed some of these flaws on the very interception that we are all harping on.

Also, I don't think your post is very indicative of Junc's stance on Sanchez at all. Junc's point isn't that Sanchez has improved dramatically since his days with the jets, it's that he was always a good quarterback, and furthermore that, 2012 notwithstanding, Sanchez was a winning player who helped us reach the pinnacle of our postseason success since Super Bowl 3. In essence, Junc has gone out of his way to DEFEND sanchez's jet career, not explain how much Sanchez has grown SINCE that career came to an end.

Just because he threw a pick did the defense have to let them go down and score? The main culprit is the D

He also had a ball knocked out of his hand earlier in the game that led to a Wash. TD. The pick wasn't in garbage time his team was still in the game. As a matter of fact they were in the game on the last play, the hail Mary he threw and not a bad Hail Mary at that.

I cannot disagree and good point. I would never expect Junc to post with reason or even a semblance of lucidity. Afterall Junc is the same poster who went on a 4-5 year posting crusade about how great a coach Herm was and how much we would regret him leaving. He is also the person who posted that Sanchez was better than Manning and that Manning would fail in Denver as he was just a product of the good talent in Indy. He has spent the last 6 delusional years now posting about the imaginary greatness of Sanchez. His new crusade appears to be the defender of Idzik. I can see where this is going but I can only imagine how great and wonderful Idzik will become in Junc's eyes. Which of course means Idzik should be fired immediately. As there appears to be only one truth here and that is if Junc supports it then it must be a lost cause. I guess that is what happens when one is an "above average fan" who thinks everyone who disagrees with him is stupid.

Mark is getting sacked much more than Foles...that's a definite...not sure if it's his lack of pocket awareness but he's been hit twice as much as foles....otherwise they both have very similar stats.....I'm no Sanchez fanboy either...just notice he crumbles more in the pocket...
