still a good sign by philly, don't think anybody else would be able to come in relief as well as Sanchez did. calling a spade a spade he's done a good job but isn't all world, they really need to bring him back at a decent rate, keep Foles new contract honest if at all necessary.

Poor throw on 3rd down. Would have had to punted it, but it just wasnt their night.

Kelly is showing flaws in his coaching style also, I think this playoff miss will push him further to find that mobile QB so they can unleash the full playbook....its probably Mariota or bust for them, kings ransome for him....

Even in one of his best statistical games in terms of yards and completion pecentage, he still turns the ball over multiple times and makes the critical mistake.

All those talking heads picked the eagles to win the nfc over gb at mid season lol, guess they never watched sanchez.

I hate to admit it, but i think the hawks are taking the NFC again.

well, as far as backups go he's done a great job, probably kept them in it better than any other guy could've.

Sanchez was actually good, but LOL. Choke. He just destroyed the Eagles' season. Enough.

He still doesn't know his limitations. Funny his percentages on red zone turnovers are good this season. This was his worst offense when he was with the Jets. Overall he had a good game. A better game than Geno has had for us all season. But again for Mark it's the same old same old.

Agreed. He's a great QB to have as a short term insurance policy. No way on Earth I would ever want him starting for my team. He just gives the ball away too much. Always has. Always will.

BTW --- How do you not let Washington score?? These coaches fascinate me with their complete lack of common sense.

As others have already pointed out, Mark was having a very strong game. But, he just wouldn't be Sanchez without a classic, game-changing interception or fumble. And that's why he's never going to be the long term solution for a winning franchise, week in and week out.

First to use the word great and Mark in the same sentence is illogical. Chip's mistake again and maybe his Sanchez downfall is not giving the ball first to McCoy and Sproles and passing off of the run. In the games I've seen the Eagles are a lot better team when McCoy not Mark is in charge

Yep. It was the same situation here. When Sanchez is forced to throw 30+ times, he turns the ball over and his team loses. He isn't consistently accurate enough and he doesn't make good decisions on a consistent enough basis to be successful on a pass-happy team. The Jets and Eagles both had their most success with Mark when they played around him. But, in order to play around your quarterback, you need a very strong running game. As a result, when Mark's Jets and Eagles ran well, they won. When they didn't, they generally lost.

The stat I'd like to see on Mark is # of come from behind wins.
