Come on man/ Ever heard of Team America World Police? Kim Jong was a bug in a person suit that escaped to outerspace. No terrorist threats or hacking. This is N Korea knowing that our government is now run by democrat pussies.

To be fair this decision was made by Sony and is reflective of the fact that the film industry is primarily democrat pussies. But I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the North Korean terrorists for revealing that these so called liberal progressives are really full of shit in their progressive front.

Sony will easily survive losing $80m or whatever from eating The Interview. They'll revamp their security, probably aiming to have the most robust security in the industry to overcompensate. Meanwhile, other large companies will assess their own systems and the risk of this happening to them, and many will choose to beef up their security in response. There will also be a re-evaluation of how data is stored, and whether it's a good idea to store every e-mail permanently, etc. The blowback from this will be huge as ex-employees file lawsuits alleging negligence in protecting their identity info and health info, and actors and directors will look to other studios as their first choice. It will also damage relationships with individual actors and agents, and Sony might be forced to bring in mostly a new set of managers to start over.

Sony is much more than just a movie studio, so while this is a major body blow, it will survive.

Sony stated that they will never release it in any form, ever.

I hope SNL goes to town on this. A regular weekly skit where this North Korean piece of shit gets assassinated in different ways could be good.

Seth Rogan's next movie should be about North Korean terrorists trying to kill him for a movie he made.

Recent interview I saw on CNN with Sony CEO he said that it was the movie theatres that were the ones who refused to show the movie which made Sony pull the plug on the 25th release date. He said that they are exploring other options of releasing it including making it free via YouTube.

Sony is a Japanese corporation. Sony USA is just a subsidiary of the parent company. This decision likely didn't come from Sony USA.

it will be interesting to see which company will happily advertise alongside this movie if it goes the youtube/hulu route.
