I also have a feeling the Cowboys will be a very different team next year, potentially without Murray, Dez, and/or half their OLine.
Ah okay read that too quickly. Glad that's not real haha, but wouldn't put some absurd scheduling past the NFL
Great point. Its more about the placement of games than who you play. String too many losses together and your season is ruined.
I'm REALLY trying to be optimistic here. REALLY I am!!! This is NOT an easy schedule. Well...not for the Jets anyway. Depending upon the outcome of the next two games we will have gone 0-6 in the division. Barring any real talent swings we will go 0-6 in the division again next year and it's not even close. We are NOT beating Indianapolis and out of the NFC East only the Skins look "beatable" as we sit right now. That's a straight up 10 losses right there. Maybe I'll just caveat next season as this...let's see who's running this ship next year before we go all hog wild on how "easy" our schedule "appears" to be. Fair enough?
Do you really think it's just Marty Ball holding us back on offense? We're a team who had Tony Sparano as our last OC
I don't think he has made a single adjustment all season aside from being forced to start Vick for a couple of weeks; an offense of player (veteran quarterback: who said "I am not prepared."). I think MM has been a huge detriment to the team along with Rex. MM is the focal point on why I think the offense was atrocious this year.
Dream Killer! Ok Ok.. 8-8 might be a bit happy but after this year's schedule, I was giddy... Coming back down to earth in 3..2..1 6-10 depending on who's driving the train.
It's set up for a nice run assuming the AFC South remains a trainwreck and Washington continues to shit all over itself. I think Jets vs Giants will be a MNF game. Depending on our coach, our game with the Pats will be a home TNF or (dare I say) SNF game. One year turnarounds happens all of the time. No reason it couldn't happen with us
I like 9 metlife games and the road Miami game in London. That's very favorable. Goodell is making it sound like each conference is getting another playoff team too so who knows?
I believe their is a strong possibility that NBC gets it. NBC I believe can take the game if they want it because FOX had it last time, CBS had it the time before so if NBC wants to control it, i'm pretty sure they are allowed. But a lot of it depends on what happens n the offseason, if we get Jim Harbaugh in here then I would give it a really good chance that its the opening Sunday Night game, or very early (week 2-3) before one of our seasons crashes and burns.
I believe that will happen, the owners chose the perfect season to vote this to considering we may be looking at multiple at an 11 win eagle team not getting in, and perhaps multiple 10 win AFC teams not getting in. In all likelyhood it gets voted, it gives the league/owners more revenue, it also allows for more franchises to compete.
