so against those teams they have averaged what Foles led the O to against inferior teams- thanks for reinforcing my point.

you are wasting your time posting stats out of context, it makes you think you know what you are talking about but in reality you have no clue.

what does winning 1 game where his team was trailing by 10 have to do w/ anything? I don't get this asinine point? Never mind the fact that it is untrue.

I don't think you have a clue - living in your own little world where Mark Sanchez is a long-term starter in this league. He's solidified himself as a career backup for sure, especially with this tenure. A team will sign him, but they won't expect much out of him.

Mark has a 1-10 record I believe when trailing by 10 points, the lone win coming against the Cowboys in 2011. Not only he is not reliable, he can't bring you back and win if the deficit is over 10 points. He's not a guy you can put out there and feel confident you can win with him.

I don't even care about the numbers, even in a QB friendly system he's below average against good teams.

he's already been a long term starter this is his 5th year starting, the only year he didn't start he was hurt and missed the season.. The world I live in is called reality, come join me some time.

You believe wrong, the 10 pt thing is meaningless anyway but if you are going to post such meaningless nonsense at least get it right.

He's not a long term starter in this league - after we cut him - no one signed him to be the starter so I have no clue what you are talking about. If a team viewed him as that guy - they would have given him at least a 2 yr contract.

I don't believe wrong, the guy is not reliable - shave the sanchez stache man, he's not a franchise QB. You need to wake up.

he was coming off missing an entire year w/ an injury to his throwing shoulder, he was released a month into FA and one of the best offensive minds in the game targeted him. at some point reality

so he's hallway to your view of a long term QB, not bad for a guy who sucks and can't play. Not to mention he still is in the top 5 of playoff wins since entering the league in 2009.

Even so, the Jets drafted a crappy QB in round 2 because they didn't believe MS was the answer. One of the best offensive minds in the game and he still has more TOs than TDs. At some point you need to wake up and realize the guy isn't as good as you believe.

He could have been a long term QB (there was a lot to like via the draft), but he's regressed to the point where he can't be counted on any longer. That's great he's top 5 in playoff wins, but remember we won as a team - Mark wasn't the clear cut reason why.

This is an idiotic post. Sanchez was cut very late into free agency, to the point that 99% of teams rosters were filled and were waiting for the draft. If Sanchez had been a free agent on day one, I guarantee you Bill O Brien would have taken him over Fitzpatrick, the same Bill O'Brien that watched Sanchez outscore his offense in a playoff game against the best Patriots offense he had. Heck I thought he was waiting for Sanchez, he waited like 2 weeks into free agency before he signed Fitzpatrick, then the next week Sanchez was cut. (at the time it was beginning to appear that the Jets might have hung on to Sanchez, I believe there were rumors/reports about it so I believe Obrien gave up waiting because he needed a QB because that team had decided they were rolling with Clowney back in March) Sanchez got somewhat screwed by the Jets, but thats the business they are in.....

He drops back. He avoids a sack with some nice moves. He pump fakes. He has all the time in the world. Finally he throws, right into triple coverage.

    Story of the Sanchize.

The Jets also tried trading Sanchez I believe also and received no inquiries. Stop making excuses for Mark. He's not a long-term starter in this league.

Shame you guys can't root for the Iggles to make the SB when they might not even make the playoffs.

Why would a team trade for him when there were many reports stating he would be cut. He is not Tom Brady, and none of us act like he is....

common sense eludes them, there really isn't any point debating w/ people who make those types of arguments- they couldn't trade him, he wasn't signed to start,...

You guys act as though this guy is a long term solution at QB - he's not even close. The most QB friendly coach in the league and the guy has more TOs than TDs. Sure he's completing more passes and that's great but the decision making it's still bad.

Surely the Texans if they REALLY wanted Mark to start, they would have traded for him. If they believed he was a long-term starter - which he is not.

Common sense? You literally said Mark had a good game against the Cowboys. Yeah there's no point in debating w/ someone that has selective reading issues.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Mark will be grounded next year. He's in the best possible place with the Eagles. I doubt they sign him long term, though. Next year he goes to a more traditional NFL offense on (probably) a pretty bad team, we'll see 2012 Mark in full bloom again.

He was injured though, why would they trade for a guy coming off an injury. Signing him ok, but trading for him during the season is risky, especially when Fitzpatrick was actually playing half decent at the trade deadline....

So you believed Mark Sanchez was the long term answer in HOU? Am I getting this right?
