meh meta article is full of conjecture names two un-named sources. if true damning if not more made up crap. What is meta's deal with the cheaters? this should be on tamp for letting walk for nothing that was the stupid move there. us signing him back would have been nice we had the money and he would have helped but how much do you want to pay a guy in his 30s?
Virtually no one in real journalism uses anonymous sources. Only people in "sports media" which is the intellectual (and practical) equivalent of gossip magazines. Mehta isn't a journalist; he's a gossip columnist.
I admit he is similar to much of ESPN and other traditional sports media. That said, he is the worst of the worst. NY sports beat reporters are the worst, most sensational and gossipy reporters in all of sports. In my opinion, Mehta is one of the worst Jets beat writers. It doesn't get much worse than that.
I actually think he may have drafted Richardson at 9. We wouldn't have taken Milliner and the only player they had rated higher (I believe they had Richardson as their no. 4 player in the draft) near that spot was Tavon Austin who was taken at no. 8
Since Richardson is the player we wound up getting for Revis IYHO R we better off with Revis or Sheldon?
Translation: Woody sucks Idzik sucks Rex caught in the crossfire Front office sucks Fans continue to suffer
2013 Article Owner Woody Johnson’s refusal to pay that kind of top-dollar contract extension for one of the best players in franchise history prompted new general manager John Idzik to deal his most valuable asset to further Gang Green’s rebuilding process. After firing Mike Tannenbaum the day after the Jets finished 6-10, Johnson made it clear to prospective G.M. candidates during the interview process that the team needed an exit strategy for Revis, who was rehabbing a season-ending ACL injury suffered in Week 3 http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/je...vis-tampa-bay-buccaneers-blog-entry-1.1630165 Current Article The biggest myth surrounding the saga: Johnson demanded that his new general manager get rid of the Pro Bowl cornerback. Johnson’s deep-seated disdain for Revis and his camp is a convenient narrative steeped in fiction. The Jets owner never delivered a directive to trade the Pro Bowler, according to several candidates interviewed for the job. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/f...move-letting-revis-patriots-article-1.2046555
Woody has thrown his employees under the bus before. Remember him saying Tanny was the one who decided to get Tebow? As if we would forget all the positive things Woody said about Tebow, and of course that Tanny reported directly to him. If Woody didn't like the Tebow trade, why did he let it happen? I mean it's not like he's an owner who defers to his "football people". But of course when the Tebow trade turned out (as most predicted) to suck, he threw Tanny under the bus. Looks like he's doing it again, the good news being today it looks more like Idzik will in fact be gone than yesterday.
You are literally the only dense moron who would read this and say that its nothing more than Manish making things up to fit his agenda.
Heh! Only a real moron, dense, thin or full of shit, would write a sentence that says the opposite of what you intended to say! When you want to call me names, try not sounding like a complete idiot when you make your feeble attempt, asswhipe.
You serious? Manish wrote two different things to fit his agenda, which clearly if you had a brain this season you would see that he wants to pile on Idzik. In 2013 the agenda was to pile on Woody and blame him for the trade, because that was what fit at the time.
So, then why did you quote my article that was intended to point out that Manish was just making things up as he goes and blame the situation on Woody trying to deflect? If you were not commenting on my post then why would you quote it? I intelligently utilized Manish's past posts to prove that he is making things up as he goes, how does that make me stupid? Go root for the Pats or Dolphins because its clear that you are just a closet troll who doesn't like the Jets.
