Yeah... Too bad the Jets only draft generational players ONCE in a generation. If you have to look at which side of the ball needs the most attention, you have to go Oline. If Rex and the Idiot is still here, who knows..

I'm not blaming the players for playing. But as a fan it's stupid to be happy about this win.

I don't know if we can call that a blind squirrel moment, like I said two drafts.

    TWO, man.

you make it seem like he's gone half a decade without a draft hit.

Outside of Richardson, I'm missing the second impact ROY candidate. Who is this beast you refer to? As far as I can see, he's 1 for 19. That's not exactly Exec of the year material.

Mangini still had a QB in Pennington when he drafted OL

thats a wee bit dishonest don't ya think?

Were trevor reilly and T-Bo supposed to be all pros? were most of our (mostly untradable) bottom 6 picks supposed to show in a huge way in their rookie year?

and would you consider contributors like Amaro and Aboushi misses?

Not saying he's flawless, far from it, its more than fair to question the evaluation of winters, saunders and mcdougle in particular, but 1-19 is going too far.

Exactly. We have zero startable QB's on the team right now. FA list is dismal.

No man's land? You do realize that in the last 15 years only 3 QBs drafted in the top 5 have won Super Bowls, right?

And one of those was Trent Dilfer.

Out of 19 picks, you hang your hat on Amaro, Aboushi, Milliner, Pryor. Not to mention the no names that didn't even make the roster or cut. 1-19 is piss poor drafting. Even if we were to give you those 4, that's a total of 2 starters out of 19 possibles over 2 years. Its not like this roster was stacked anyway and these kids ain't breaking the Packer or Patriot rosters for a spot either. You're basically talking about the cream of the crap here.

You want to give Idzik more time to do what exactly? Learn how to be a GM? Time to let the professionals come in and do the job right. Idzik can learn how to be a GM off youtube for all I care but this OJT shit has to end this year.

Well watching the Cowboys tonite, I don't mind saying goodbye to mariota as long as we say hello to a revamped OL thru the draft.

once again did you expect all pros out of every pick?

Idzik did a mediocre job, nobodies denying that, but I think your expectations are skewed.

SOMEBODY was gonna get cut out of 12 players sorry to say, not everybody was brought in to be all world players or even starters, especially that back lot of draftees, and further more over half the guys from 2014 are not even done showing us what they have.

your harping on a weird area by lumping in late round cuts with players drafted or acquired with higher expectations. if you don't like JI because of winters or Dex, fine, those were higher picks that can be held to a higher standard than their output has given.

but i find it odd that you wanted IK and such to prove their awesomeness immediately and are already writing them off because they weren't surefire cornerstones… even though thats probably not what they were meant to be in their rookie years…(depth players, STers)

how about JI should be fired for drafting players that have contributed little in the middle rounds?

    1-19 is just woefully dishonest.

Not really though, Richardson is a beast, Milliner is a hot garbage trail technique corner with athleticism that looked good in cover 3 shells with help on the inside, aboushi has been pretty good in pass pro but needs help moving stronger tackles in the running game, Geno wouldn't know a timing route if he had a rolex tattooed on his forehead, should I keep going?
