Or the next D'Brickashaw Ferguson in Ronnie Stanley

Mangini had the right idea, you build with a line and then everything else falls into place. Sure LT is a boring pick but they help win games in a big time way. Have a bad LT, chances are you suck. If Mangini could have found a QB I believe we would have won a SB. Look how good the team was the year we had Favre, he doesn't get injured and we might have won the whole dam thing.

This win does nothing. The whole staff is getting fired. The QB's need to be replaced. Half the defense and offense needs to go. The game was sloppy as shit, absolute brutal display to watch. All this win does is put us out of position to draft the top prospects at the position we need the most. All you people that are happy for the win can take your pom poms and wipe you ass with them.

I think he's already said he's coming back, not 100% sure about that though.

I would try to improve the o-line in FA if we could.

I agree, far from losing on purpose to draft.

I think everyone hated the Gholston pick.

I know, I'm just still bitter about, most likely, losing out on a top 3 pick.

I am starting to think tackle will be the way to go. Not the sexy pick, but there are some good ones out there. Gotta protect your QB. Anyone can find the open target if he's got enough time.

Probably not a bad idea, he'll probably be a late 1st early 2nd this year or a top 10 pick next year.

Well for the Mariota/Winston runnings that's "that"'as they say :-/

The only thing I can really look forward to for the rest of this campaign is by maybe the grace of GOD we beat New England next week, and can throw a wrench in their playoff home field advantage race against Denver.

Ugh, what a flaming garbage dump a season *smh*

Yea but we already lost 11 games so what's the point of one win now?

With all the needs of the OLine, why do I get the feeling we'll draft another CB or S or LB with our pick..

By blind squirrel you mean Sheldon right?

Richardson kind of makes my point, we can get talent out of the top 10, and really theres no overwhelming precedent on JI's first rounders yet either way.

If he does stay, he could be the first QB taken in next year's draft. It'll probably be him or Hackenberg.

Well they can go in that direction, but it better be the next Revis or Charles Woodson or Ray Lewis if you catch my drift. We are talentless enough that we can still go BPA and it will likely fill a need.

Signing Iuputi and drafting the best OL in the draft instantly improves the line. You probably have another 2-3 years of Mangold and Brick but you slide Stanley over to the right and our OL becomes very good in 2 moves.

Not true at all. Half this board had a boner over that pick.

Yep.. The Blind Squirrel found his nut... You really want to bank the future on a blind squirrel getting lucky? If I had another 10,20 or 30 years to wait on the Jets, I'd agree with you.

Yeah, but possibly with fewer teams looking for an answer at QB. He comes out this year and he could be in the top 6.

Maybe other teams will stay away from Famous because of his character issues and he falls to us

Because as fans it's easy to say lose, it only helps your position but guys like Cumberland, Sudfeld, Jarrett and Wilson are playing for their careers. Guys like Smith have something to prove. MM is coaching for a job next year, Rex is trying to show people his team didn't quit.
