Anything can happen in the playoffs, hell the NFC south team could just get hot at the right time and make the Superbowl....how pathetic would that be to have a sub .500 team win the Superbowl? it's not likely to happen, I mean I think only 1 or 2 sub .500 teams have ever made the playoffs and I don't think any made it past round 1. though I think one or two .500 teams came close to getting to the superbowl, but that may be an error in thought (aka I'm not taking the time to research it).
Eh I think there was no choice, you're down by 24 in the 3rd...a field goal does nothing really and you need to get your team a boost..granted if you don't get in then it could deflate the team but you have to figure the Packers are going to put at least another score or two on the board, TD was a must get there if they wanted to even have a chance. Now the defense needs a stop.
gruden said matthews made a beautiful one on one tackle he didn't even bring the runner down! Two other guys did
HOLY SHIT thought I was done in my fantasy playoffs... down 55 points with just two players going tonight... JULIO FUCKING JONES and JORDY BITCHIN NELSON
yeah, very low percentage. But within the context of the situation it was the right call. as it turns out it's not going to matter since GB just put another 7 on the board but the Falcons had it to within 10 points, if the had just taken the fG it would have still been a 2 TD game. First quarter you don't try that, 3rd quarter down by 24 yep, ya gotta go for it, 3 points there was useless.
well, Falcons back to within 10...if the Falcons had any pass rush the last time GB had the ball this would be a 3 point game right now...
I don't know if I agree with that with 6 minutes left, I can't object too much because barring a turnover you're probably going to have to onside kick after scoring anyway...but man, No I can't agree with that there, gotta give the defense a chance.
that dumb onside kick is going to cost the Falcons a shot here.... this would be a 3 point game right now most likely, Falcons will probably lose this but I admire their fight......they didn't just lay down and fold like a paper cup when they were down by 24.
We certainly were. It wouldn't shock me if they haven't been down that much at home since Rodgers got there, and it will be a long time before we see it again.
Hey here's an idea, kick it where nobody on your team has a shot at it - right at the guy with the best hands on their team.
