laugh, excuses flowing in, they keep flowing in. Woulda coulda shoulda, Waaah, it should have been pass interference, whaaaa it should have been a hit to the head...waaahhhhh every body else screwed up... I love that you're now laying the weapons and system you'd been saying were so great under the bus to defend a bad game from Sanchez....98 yards and 50% is a bad game...no matter how you cut it. It's also the 2nd or 3rd game where he hasn't been able to lead the team on more than 1 long scoring drive where the rest of the scores weren't short field that started on the other teams side of the 50. That's a trend.
They wanted him to play like the best QB in the league, like Aaron Rodgers, oh wait, I forgot, Aaron Rodgers couldnt do much at all against the Seattle defense either.....
Yes they shut down Aaron Rodgers and beat the Packers...of course shutting down Rodgers meant holding him to 22 of 33 (66%) 189 yards and 1 TD 1 Int..... Yes, they made Rodgers look like Sanchez on one of his better days.....
So you agree that it doesn't matter how good you're qb is, you cannot beat Seattle when they are clicking on all cylinders.
Mark has helped his team defeat the Texans, Titans, Panthers, Cowboys. All while looking great to pretty good. He lost and looked average vs The superbowl champs who are peaking Seahawks and to Green Bay the other powerhouse while playing at Green Bay. At this point, I say he wins out the remainder of the season and makes the playoffs.
When one of those TD's is a 14 yard drive that they had to go 4th and 1 to buy another set of downs to try to make that last 4 yards, yep.....
He was a mediocre QB in a shitty situation. Now he's a mediocre QB in an awesome situation. We're seeing the difference between a system run by a brilliant offensive mind with talent around him and a Rex Ryan system.
did they get a TD? you do know that even getting the ball in that incredible FP does not guarantee a TD.
he was a good QB in a good situation, a bad QB in a bad situation and he's a good QB in a good situation again.
Which means he's a meh QB who if you surround him with top tier talent can win...but only if the team doesn't need him to carry them at all.
sounds like a winner to me, what QB carries a team besides maybe Brady and Rodgers? you are allowed to disagree.
Oh I do know that it's not a guarantee, but it is an expectation. But it's indicative of the Sanchez led offense. Under Sanchez there have been 76 drives. Of those 76 drives 13 were TD drives covered at least 50 yards... That doesn't sound too awfully bad, until you realize that 6 of those drives came in 2 games, one of those games was against the Hapless Texans the other Was Dallas. in his other 4 games he's led the team on exactly 7 scoring drives that started on the other teams side of the field....against Carolina, Greenbay, Titans, Seattle....strike the seattle game and it's 1 50+ drive (55 yards), and he's averaging 2 scoring drives per game over those other 3 games, against average to below average defenses...remember the Eagles are a high flying offense... Sanchez has too many negative plays, takes too many sacks, puts the ball on the ground too often, and not to mention the picks....too many negative plays stresses the offense. That's just the fact...Dallas couldn't get a rush on Sanchez and Sanchez stayed in a pretty clean pocket and was allowed to roll out....Hit Sanchez a few times in the mouth early in the game and he's done. SEattle showed that, Greenbay showed that, Even Tennessee showed that to a degree, and it's what Dallas needs to establish tomorrow, hit him in the mouth a couple times early (figuratively speaking) and the games over, he'll be dancing in the pocket and feeling ghost pressure for the rest of the game.
the Philly O is averaging 28 PPG in his 6 starts. only 2 of the starts have been under 30, only 1 under 20.
Sanchez still throws a ton of incompletions and turns the ball over but he did manage 2 TD passes. Not a good game but not terrible either. Seattle dominated TOP
Good ones and many on at least occasion where you look at him and you're down by 17 in the 3rd and you feel you still have a chance......Rivers has, Romo has, Eli has, Flacco has, ...Sanchez? Oh wait, down by 17 it's in junk time it doesn't count because they're out of the game....that's how little supporters really think of Sanchez.
