If there is one thing to take away from this year, is that this team does have a good core. Sheldon Richardson is a leader that you build your defense around. Just seeing when Richardson came up limping, seeing how the rest of the defense reacted to him shows how important and respected he is. Things change rapidly in the NFL, especially with leaders on the team like Richardson. Hopefully we can get our franchise qb through either the draft or free agency. Hopefully we won't have a secondary as dreadful as the one we had this year, next year. This team could certainly be a playoff team next year.

Richardson had a monster game today. 3 sacks, a safety, 7 tackles, 4 qb hits, 3 tackles for loss. When was the last time we had a guy with 3 sacks in one game? And for an interior lineman, that's just unbelievably impressive. Hopefully this will help him with the Pro Bowl selection this year.

I didn't even realize Richardson got hurt on the play till clicking in this thread...yeesh. I was wondering why he was the only one in the same area code as the receiver, Rex is really getting too cute for himself this year.
Richard was the pick we got for Revis if I am not mistaken. This kid is MONEY. I am going to enjoy watching him grow with the Jets and hopefully he can be on a winning team with us. I said I would NEVER EVER buy another Jets Jersey. But this dude has really changed my mind.
