Good win by the Dookies (and ND). On the road AT Wisconsin's no picnic.

Unless it's Gonzaga. Then .333 is the stuff Top 10 teams are made of.

Excellent point about ND by the way. That was a big win too.

I highly doubt they flame out early. This is not the typical Duke team that's flamed out early.

They are without a doubt a top 5 team.

I say S16 at minimum, and likely deeper.

flaming out early doesn't mean 1st rd again, they will be a 1 seed and not making the FF is flaming out early and they have lost in the S16 numerous times as a 1 seed and that's a terrible job.

I'm a Husky and Saturday was one of the saddest days on campus. Texas hit that 3 at the buzzer then all of a sudden Boatright was rolling around in pain. Horrible 5 second stretch. Looks like a repeat without Shabazz is almost out of the question.

Wait, I am confused: You are saying that if a 1-seed fails to make the final four, they have flamed out?

But it's happened to TONS of other one seeds for the past 30 years. Were all of them a Flame-Out?

    absolutely, if you don't make the FF as a 1 seed(barring injuries) it's a failure. Like 'Nova '06, Carolina '07, duke '00/'02/'05/'06/'11

That's such a generalization though: Consider this. A #1 Seed faces a #2 Seed for a trip to the final four, in which the 1-Seed it the AP #4 team and the 2-Seed is the AP #5. The 1 Seed loses on a neutral court in this scenario...

    That is a Flame-Out?

It's a failure but losing to a 2 seed isn't as bad as losing in the Sweet 16 or to a lower seed. it situation is different but generally losing before the FF as a 1 seed is a failure.

Junc never gives Duke credit because he hates their existence. Especially this year, because this Duke team could run his NC team out of the gym! As of now his Tarheels are flaming out, and it's November. Hahaha
