Not at all...he basically ignored the Jets in the monologue, defending the run-only gameplan for two minutes then going off on a diatribe about the Giants/Coughlin and how there needs to be resolution.
It was a strange opening, basically got on and praised the Jets gameplan and their attempt to win, then like about 5 minutes abruptly switched to Coughlin: In the big picture the Jets need to lose out, he needs the Jets to lose. He needs the NY teams to win, he does, not having either this late does affect the ratings, especially when its postseason times. His dream would be for Harbaugh to come here because that means drama, attention, winning, postseason, etc. He sees the bigger picture at least, Jets need to lose out here. He also was claiming today that the players are not playing 100 percent for the Giants which is interesting because that says something about Coughlin. He denies the fact they quit though....
Mikes such a Coughlin groupie he really is,its disgusting to listen to his rants about how "Tom deserves better then this!!"All he does is make excuses for a washed up 90 year old coach
How are you able to listen to most of his show almost every day? I think i listen to him once or twice a week for like 20 mins at a time.
I don't listen to most or any of his shows. I just record it with the tunein app, usually listen to the opening and then shut it down.
I think I would stab myself if I listened to his entire show, especially when he starts acting like the local weatherman when he starts talking about the upcoming forecasts.I listen to Mike for a half hour at best unless I'm stuck in traffic and he isn't putting people to sleep talking about baseball or the Knicks lost season
HA! Back when I used to listen to him, many many, moons ago. The horse racing always killed me. Who the hell cares about horse racing? There's all this stuff going on and he's spending like two hours talking about facking horse racing? Cmon.
No one cares about the race itself, it's all about gambling. Like how he has a doctor on now, thats all for fantasy.
He does now cuz his son started playing it and he actually admitted that he kinda likes it (but wouldnt fully admit to it because he has been so opposed for it for so many years).
He's an idiot, for years he preached that if you have an elite QB you are always a contender.......now hes preaching that if you have an elite QB, you still need an Oline. Everything he says is based around the Giants, thats why when the Jets lost both championship games he didnt bash him, he said it happens, "you can just have a bad half", well guess why he was cool with it? BECAUSE Coughlin lost 2 championship games and had a terrible half in 1999 championship game......
