Sorry I was at the KC game and Vick sucked a whole lot more than his numbers looked, he sucked in the second half in SD, played like shit in the dome against Buffalo. The vets should be pissed at the coaches for that abortion of play calling and kindergarten pettiness last night not about the starting qb.
The perfect Org Chart would look like this: Woody Johnson | Paul Glat | John Idzik | Rex Ryan | Ass't Coaching Staff What we have is.... Woody Johnson | Glat---Idzik---Ryan | Ass't Coaching Staff Woody, take off that stupid fckn ballcap and MANAGE YOUR TEAM instead of treating it like a hobby/toy.
The vets should be upset. Vick should have started from week 1. If Idzik is forcing Rex to play Geno because he is even remotely thinking about having him play a meaningful snap after next year, he should be fired right now.
It's foolish to think we'd be in any type of playoff race if Vick was starting. Just another over the hill vet living off a name.
Lol... this team makes a great soap opera, very suspenseful. Or one of those wild VH1 reality shows... we def. could have had that going for us this year.
It makes ya wonder to, I think Rex running the ball was a middle finger toward Idzik. Protesting Geno, obviously the run game worked but with so few passes, something was up....
Agreed. It would make sense to fuck with the guy who cost you your job when you know you're on the way out anyways. I just hope Idzik wont use this as an example as to why Geno never got a fair shot. Everyone has had plenty of chances to prove themselves.
Rex has worn out his welcome. No NFL offense can succeed with him. QB's regress with him. If Rex could go the whole season without having to throw the ball he would be okay with that smh.
I disagree Rex will go somewhere else with a good gm and win. he can't make qbs better and he was dealt a crap hand here with Geno and it is his fault that Mark was hurt. It is amazing isn't that Sanchez whom everyone hated goes to a team with talent and wins. Sanchez was never as bad Geno and his main fault was he was not good enough to make players around him better. he played to the level of the players around him. And there was crap on this roster. Sanchez starting on this team or Vick we would be closer to 500. Instead we force fed a living turn over that can't read defenses and we are supposed to be happy about it. This is worse then the kotite years because the Gm has actually made more holes in the team then he has filled. Suck for the duck but JI the village idiot will draft someone else
Give Rex the players to do his job, that's plain to see. With lame QB's taking snaps , Rex had to use the tools available to him to try to win this game. His game plan would have been flawless if not for the Jets missing two easy field goals and if Geno had imitated an NFL caliber QB and make the right throws - whatever the case, it's not all Rex's fault.
That's not the foolish part - the foolish part will be when fans start calling for this team to draft Geno Smith 2.0. I am of course referring to the future bust known as Jameis Winston.
Yes of course. Instead it's: - Mangini's fault for leaving a bad team - Tannenbaum's fault for selecting bad players - Schotty's fault for calling a terrible offense - Sanchez's fault for flopping as a franchise QB - Sparano's fault for not developing Ground And Pound and the Wildcat - Tebow's fault for sucking all the oxygen out of the room - Tebowmaniac fans' fault for blaming everybody else and pushing for Tebow - Woody's fault for being an interfering owner - Revis's fault for forcing his way out of town - Geno's fault for turning into a pick throwing machine - Vick's fault for being unprepared and uninterested - Marty's fault for not developing the passing game - Woody's fault for being hands-off and passive - Idzik's fault for building a poor team Did I leave anybody out there? Maybe somebody who has been the common thread through all this? Hmmmm....
