SF completes a pass, then wastes half the remaining time for no reason idiotic over 15 seconds with the clock running receiver should've gotten out of bounds and when he didn't, they should've spiked or called TO
He's a mental midget he had plenty of time to throw it away (and was by the sideline), but lets them sack him for a loss of 6
sad, SF is going to waste their window loaded team and they're not even going to make a SB probably this year they are very likely going to miss the playoffs last night's game was virtually a must win since they are almost certainly not going to win in Seattle so now Seattle will have the tiebreaker over them (as well as the actual wins) Seattle and Arizona both get in now, I think. Other wild card will be Detroit (assuming GB wins division) or Dallas (assuming Philly wins division).
Some interesting games today: SD v Balt two 7-4 teams Brady v Rogers Broncos v Chefs tonite Of course we need wins by Tenn over Houston and TB at home over Cincy. Jax could absolutely beat the Giants and wouldn't shock me if the Raiders beat the Rams. And I kept seeing the promos last night on ESPN for the a Jet Fin game with the picture of Tannehill on one side and Geno on the other. D'OH! _
Cardinals vs Falcons (the late afternoon game I will be watching [note: I watch all Cardinals games regardless]) is notable too. It has as much playoff implications as the games you noted. The Falcons are in a division title race.
HaHA! But at 4-7 Atlanta still is. Hell the Bucs still have a shot. Too bad about Palmer, that team was looking very strong and I always liked the Cards from back in the day. Loved Larry Wilson and Terry Metcalf is one of my all-time favorites. I like this coach too. A shame. _
Weird. Only two 4:00 games because of Thanksgiving. The Red Zone can just go to the double box all game. _
Yes, it is a shame. There is definitely a dropoff from Palmer to Stanton. The team went 31-11 from 1974-76 and didn't even get to host one playoff game (due to a stupid rotational system and then tiebreakers). Twice the Cardinals had 10-win seasons since the merger and did not qualify for the postseason. Now there is the Palmer injury. This franchise is so snake-bitten that they can't catch breaks when they are good.
Sunday is under way with the Skins messing up starting in the Redzone, settling for a field goal. PS. Is it just me, or does Luck fumble all the time?
Blake Bortles has reverted to terrible mechanics(dropping his elbow , throwing off of one foot, terrible footwork). He's been regressing over the last few weeks, I think it's time the Jags fire Gus Bradley.
They should have stuck with their plan to redshirt him this year.... Unfortunately, selling tix is a real issue there, and they had to sell the fans on something.
