Hear that? Winston has more interceptions in the last 5 games than Mariota does IN THE LAST 3 SEASONS!
You want to see prospects, improve each year,Winston HAS regressed this season, and I have feeling Winston's flaws were covered last season by the elite talent surrounding him. No one is saying Winston "sucks", or will be awful, but you CANNOT brush off his high turnover totals, and act as if this was just a bad game. Yes, he makes fantastic comebacks, but he's not going to get away with this in the NFL. Teams will MAKE him pay.
Speculation at its finest. Teams will make him pay. Let's see who translates into the better nfl prospect. If we pass on Winston we made a HUGE mistake
He'll go in the top ten , no doubt. But I don't want to see the Jets draft yet another inconsistent Quarterback, who is turnover prone.
If Winston turns the ball over, are you telling me NFL teams will not captialize on his mistakes? In college Winston can turn over the ball three times, and lead his team to a victory If Winston turns the ball over three times in the NFL, he'll find his team down 21-0.
Jarmacus Russell didn't lose too. I'm not comparing the two prospects, but college wins are meaningless, when it comes to the evaluation of a Quarterback.
AJ Mccaron didn't lose too! Neither did Troy Smith! Vince Young as well! Winning in College is incredibly important, when it comes to the evaluation of a Quarterback!
He lost against superior talent. If you want to play the "he doesn't lose card", lets look at his schedule compared to Tebow, Vince Young, and Jarmacus Russell's.
Against superior talent. Winston plays in the ACC. It's easy to make comebacks against crappy teams such as Boston College, and the "U".
