Yeah it is, its just you're not ready to roll with it yet. Outside of the US most think whats happened is a sad and terrible event, but what's more disturbing are the violent protests, which totally detract from the issues that the peaceful protesters are trying to make. For the record I've experienced racism and its highly unpleasant and wouldn't wish it on anyone. BUT nothing in the 'Ferguson incident' says it was a racist act by the cop. In fact you could argue that the agitators in the protesters are the ones being racist. For the large part I can't stand the police and go out of my way to avoid them, I wouldn't ever go for a cop, because every right minded person knows the ramifications. This Tit in Ferguson, by all accounts had no discipline or respect for authority or himself , that's why he's dead even forensics back up the version of events.
G Gus, the KFC post has nothing to do with legitimately criticizing the black community and how people are acting in Ferguson. It's a bad attempt to ridicule an entire race of people.
I get the KFC gag and can understand why it may appear (or is) offensive. Ha ha funny thing is from that pic had another slant on it, KFC is so bad it doesn't need wrecking. I grew up in a fairly cosmopolitan environment and only see people, maybe why I read that pic's intentions differently.
I think you'd have a hard time finding a black person who is "shocked" by this report. Once the spotlight is off Ferguson, it will be back to business as usual.
^Im not shocked that there are people in the Ferguson police force sending racist e-mails however I am still shocked that people think this kid had his hands up yelling dont shoot. Michael Brown had no respect for anyone nevermind authority and his death although tragic was brought about by his actions.
