I see no reason why he can not play as long as Selanne did, if he chooses to do so.

Callahan is playing with Stamkos. He wouldn't be lighting it up if he was with the Rangers.

He is not talented enough to be a first line center, he is no Tavares, Towes, crosby...etc

I'm not being critical, it's just obvious they have no one else to fill those shoes, and honestly most NHL teams have one star center, the ones that don't, end up in the bottom of the standings.

Ryan McDonagh in a regular practice jersey, not a yellow non-contact one.

Green light for Tanner Glass to start boarding him in practice

Also per @JimCerny, Stempniak skated in Duclair's third-line spot today and John Moore appeared to be extra defenseman.

Based on McDonagh skating with Girardi today in Tampa, per @JimCerny, I think he'll play tomorrow.

So with Cam Talbot starting tomorrow in Philly, Lundqvist gets Saturday home matinee vs. Flyers.

Matt, you no likey JT manos di piedra Miller? : )

Flyers' Scott Laughton lost sight of Marty and let him slip right onto the doorstep. While that 3 on 1 shorthand rush had a nice finish by Nash, imho Mark Streit should've left the 'shooter' Derek Stepan for the goalie and looked to defend against the centering pass to either McDonagh or Nash. The moment Streit went after Stefan, Steve Mason was toast.

Nice to watch back-to-back games with actual hockey players on the fourth line. Amazing what a difference it can make.

Maybe they can isolate Glass by giving him a one-way ticket to Siberia.

He played good yesterday, but he has to sustain...I will give you a little insight from the game yesterday, in the defensive zone he floats, he's a watcher, he has to improve on that, this comes from my son who's at every home game and told me its hard to see on tv...but again he did this in preseason for 2 games then reverted back, so hold the I told you so's, personally I like that 4th line better now w/o Glass and with actual hockey players on it...LGR
