Yup, that would be classic Jets. We'll be stuck with that idiot for 4 years.

One of my biggest fears is turning into champ in 30 years.

But I think I'd just stop watching football long before that happened.

And by drastically he must mean that the NFL decides to start the whole season over.

We got blown out last year as well. The difference is we won the close games. No such luck this year.

I'm gonna disagree just a little, I will take Ivory, Decker, Kerley, Amaro and Harvin, over Clyde Gates, Chad Schillens, Shonne Greene, Wayne hunter..I think you get my drift.

I had high hopes for MM but his propensity to pass even when the run is working leads me to believe that we have another coach who can't adjust his approach and will stick with his philosophy come what may.

It bothers me to see Bill Callahan running the Dallas offense and giving Demarco the ball, 20 plus times a game and we don't give our best RB the ball more than 15 touches.

I think the coaching style and philosophy just don't mesh with the talent the jets have on the field, we are built to run the ball, but rex hired an OC who loves passing.

Thought is was bad at 1-15 but even though we have 2 wins I think this team can be worse.
And there really is no future for a while. How very very sad.

That actually wouldn't be classic Jets. Classic Jets would be not taking Winston. Classic Jets would be squandering their opportunity to get a franchise QB because they are worried about things like maturity and intangibles and settling for mediocrity at the QB position.

JaMarcus Winston is not what this team needs...those two things are a huge deal you have to worry about them. What do you think makes a good NFL QB?

I think a good NFL QB has talent above all. All the other stuff gets overrated.

Classic Jets would be drafting a guy that shows a lot of promise on the field but has so much horseshit between his ears that he ends up melting down in epic fashion.

    Winston would be classic Jets.

I agree about MM. As far as Dallas goes, after their disasterous 2009 draft they started to fill in the blanks with Dez and Sean Lee in 2010, Tyron Smith and Demarco Murray in 2011 and from there they got rid of the Flozell Adams' and the Phil Costas' and really focused on upgrading their OL to the point where it's now paying dividends: Tyron Smith-LT, Ronald Leary-LG, Travis Frederick-C, Zak Martin-RG and Doug Free-RT. Not a shabby bunch. The Jets OL should be so good. Watching Brian Winters "upgrade" Oday Aboushi last night flat out whiffing on several occassions and even D'Brick getting steamrolled, it's obvious that the OL is in need of an overhaul esp. at both guard positions.

I have to admit that I like Winston more than most. I just think he has a really good feel for playing the position and he handles a pass-rush very well. (He reminds me of Big Ben in a lot of ways

Classic Jets is drafting O'Brien over Marino because they are worried about Marino's maturity/drug issues.
Classic Jets is not trading up to secure a Brett Favre even though they liked him because they are worried about his maturity.
Classic Jets is drafting Kyle Brady over Warren Sapp because they are worried about Sapp's maturity/drug issues.

Classic Jets will be passing over Winston this spring because they are worried about his maturity.

I find it fucking hilarious that you are comparing Marino, Favre and Sapp to this fucking idiot. And before you say you aren't comparing them, just stop. Because you are.
