Yeah, I thought at first you were serious but the more you kept saying it the more I thought you were being sarcastic - just needed to be sure. Just as I should stay away from certain areas, so should you - so that statement is bullshit.
So you really think that's how his life is now? His family was threatened days after the event, and like I said it was based on false witness accounts. This guys life will neverbe the same. he could end up institutionalized one day from this for all we know. I really doubt he set out to destroy his career and possibly his family and life that day. But Mike Brown sure didn't give a damn about anybody when he deicded to create the situation.
Actually, I DO stay away from certain areas. I also give cops a wide berth and no reason to shoot me. It comes with being older and Black in america. You learn certain survival techniques. You also realize that the dumb shit they're doing in Ferguson will accomplish nothing except to reinforce the perception of the folks doing the rioting. Too bad since they could have shown a much better face to the world but instead, they went typical.
Darren Wilson has made like half a million dollars from killing a kid for stealing cigarettes. How many years of salary is that for a policeman who doesn't act recklessly? If he goes crazy because of this it's because he has a conscience. I'd be surprised, but who knows.
What do you want me to say Byz... Generally speaking, this case isn't really all that different than other cases where the Police are justified in a deadly shooting no matter what. I never said Brown was a saint. Brown is just one of many. Hell, if they didn't indict the cops for shooting Diallo, there was no reason whatsoever to believe this outcome to be any different. At this point, there's nothing really much left to say about this. The result of the grand jury is what it is and won't be reversed. Just another dead black kid. There was a time when I would have been upset by this particular incident. Now? Its all part of the bigger picture and a trend that only exist in the minds of people of color.
No he didn't kill the kid for stealing cigarettes, Michael Brown refused to allow the cop to do his job which caused a physical confrontation while the officer was still in his car. Whether you want to accept it or not Michael Brown was a criminal, not a martyr.
Lastly, if my life depended on hiring a lawyer, Ben Crump would be the LAST LAWYER ON EARTH I would consider. That man is the Black Rich Kotite when it comes to high profile cases.
Poor flower. There are decent officers in that guy's department who do not use lethal force in that situation and do not get half a million dollars donated to them by racists.
