It seems that taking a case to trial knowing it was not winnable would have been the only "right" thing to do. There may be multiple cases of police officers taking it too far and committing crimes that should be prosecuted but protesting incidents where the officer was justified seem to me to take away from the cases that should have the spotlight on them.
I saw a TV in Target the other day that had great resolution and excellent networking abilities. That is the first thing I plan on displaying my outrage of the unfair decision of some stupid fucking overpublicized cop killing issue in bumfuck middle America on.
Please don't act like this is the result of a white guy getting away with murder. It's so very obviously not. Not one shred of evidence that could convict Wilson of anything. Just a crapload of made up baloney by fake witness trying to get one over on the man.

The guy that got killed? Fucking guy was a repeat criminal. THAT is who you are going to take a stand about? Police have done so much bad in this country, I can give you hundreds of accounts of that, and you are defending and taking up for a, guy that was running away from a place that he robbed, violently. That says more about you than it does for this situation.
I am disappointed in your reaction to this. the kid was wrong,clearly,and the only fix is not the cops,its the black youth mentality that is not helprd in anyway by their community.all I saw was an attempt to cover up his actions that day and blame the white cop. that community reacted with hellfire ,based on lies and false witness accounts. The Cop will become a celebrity. He'll make the rounds on TV. He'll move on with his life. Didn't he just get married? At the end of the day, Darren Wilson will get his 15mins of fame and with all the silent supporters out there just like the ones that bankrolled Zimmerman to the tune of a couple of thousand dollars, Wilson will hardly be on foodstamps when this is all said and done. Streets won't be safe for a while, I can tell you that - shit could go down any day down in Ferguson. I hope those that are there stay safe. That's bullshit, at the end of the day it's how you carry yourself - I believe you create your own perception and how people think of you. I'm not a terrorist or a thug. Nor do I believe I would be portrayed that way.
The cop has to live with killing a kid. Lets not pretent like that is taken lightly. He didn't set out for that that day.
Those idiots in Ferguson won't be happy until they create more casualties. Actually Byz, I'm not surprised by any of this. As in most cases, there's always gonna be "justification". They're already smearing the guy on the staircase and giving the cop an excuse as to why he blew away an unarmed black male. I'm just pointing out that these things happen just a bit too often. So much so that every police shooting can and will be dismissed. What would have been the harm of taking this to trial? IF nothing else, it would have defused a lot of the resentment. The cop would have been found innocent anyway but the difference would have been the appearance of the system actually working FOR people of color instead of the usual result.
