Aikman at the end of the game "he's like a new person, he just carries himself with more confidence" .... lol what? 1TD/2INT yea, he sure is reborn.
It's like the media and some fans are so determined to follow the ready-made meme they're not seeing what's in front of their face. If anything Sanchez is proving it WASN'T all the Jets' fault. The only difference is he's in a much better offense.
Im sure Kellen Clemens can throw for 300 yards in that Chip Kelly offense too...43 passes, 1 TD/2 INT vs Titans lol
I'm not a Mark fan and one of the happiest moments of my Jets fan career is when Idzik cut him. But Mark had a good game today and compared favorably (today that is) with any Qb in the NFL even with 2 picks. No reverse excuses by Mark haters.
70% completion rate, 300+ yards, 10 different receivers, 8 scoring drives, a win. That'll play. No excusing the 2 INTs. Bad throws. Made some nice throws against a mediocre team. Not a great game by any stretch but a good game nonetheless. _
1 TD, 2 INTs. A very Mark Sanchez kind of game. Doesn't hurt when your #1 RB rushes 21 times for 130 yards. Or someone on your team returns a kickoff for a TD. Defense forces three turnovers... But yea, the Eagles are totally winning because of Sanchez.
LOL. He led them on just two TD drives. Their kicker made five field goals in six drives. Stop pumping him up
I wouldn't say the Eagles are winning because of Sanchez. You don't know that. But Mark is doing his job. As a matter of fact he's doing a good job. Today he was one of the best players on the field. Am I sold on him. I'll give you 62 reasons why I'm not. But no reverse excuses saying it was an inferior opponent. It doesn't wash because you have to beat them all.
Oh, I missed one. Does it make my point any less valid? Here's math: 1.5 INT per game. INT rate is 4.11%.
0-1 when playing teams over .500. the teams the Eagles have beat with sanchez at the helm have a combined 10-22-1 record. Two of the 3 wins came against two of the worst defenses in the league. In 4 games he's fumbled 5 times, lost two of them. In 4 games, well technically 3.75 games, he's thrown 6 picks, that's 8 turnovers in 3.75 games, but we'll round it to 4...how does that stack up to his career? if you keep the same turnover rates that's 16 picks and 8 lost fumbles. Yes the Eagles have won the games against very subpar opponents, the Eagles are a very good team. But against good teams you can't turn the ball over at the rate he has been. Now his other peripherals are nice overall, over 60% completion rate so he's being efficient. But until he starts taking care of the ball he won't get a high grade. But he has been, other than the high turnover rate, close to an average QB, and for Mark that's an improvement....But the Turnovers today kept the very bad Titans in the game, He does that against Dallas (in 2 games) and Seattle and the Eagles will be watching January from home....good teams won't forgive those errors. Edit, I goofed, If you keep the same rates that's 24 picks, 8 lost fumbles, 20 Fumbles, 28 TD's....
I didn't state anything but facts. You dismissed the math. Didn't pump him up, just said he played a good game against a mediocre opponent. 2 bad INTs. I choose not to shit on ex-Jets. That's ok for you. Seriously. _
They have been winning with the help of Sanchez. Yeah he threw 1 over throw for an int and another int on a route ran by copper but...*gasp*, the Egals won the game and his drives help close the deal and that's all that matters. Ima usin Tapatalkie.
