    Overrated. Not enough sacks.

    Signed,

    Warren Sapp.

Lets see how good of a player he is under new coaching.

he'd probably be even better in a dedicated 4-3 defense. Rex has him dropping back in coverage!

Doesnt this look like he's only improved in rushing the passer?

Seems like he's having a worse year in regards to stopping the run.

Rich is in on so many plays. Do yourself a favor and only watch him when we are on defense. It's a non stop motor.

    He's our best defensive player.

I'm not questioning his ability. I watch him play every weekend.

I'm questioning the stats relative to what they were last year and whether or not it's an improvement in all facets. The stats seem to indicate that he has regressed in the run game.

I'm questioning the article more so than the player.

no, it only seems like that because we have no secondary and teams are throwing all over the place on us there.

two years ago we couldn't stop the run for crap and last year teams tested our run d. all year and sheld proved himself. this year teams know we can stop the run and with our inferior d backfield talent teams aren't testing our run d as much.

    basically.

the jets have two building stones for the future and they are wilk and Sheldon rich. they have a couple of players who are two down players on d like our nose tackles but no other 3 down players to build around. and everyone on O is replaceable at this point.

the only good news is that these two players could be effective in either the 4-3 or 3-4 so we don't necessarily need to hire a particular couch to suite these players.....like we would be smart enough to do that anyway......

You misread the stats. They're cumulative. Hell have over his 20 or so from last year by the end of the season. Should finish around 30-35.

As surprised as watching a one-armed man's attempts at juggling. Same guy that absolved Eric Smith of any responsibility whenever he got burned.

    Dude knows zero about football.

And he's a real fan of proper usage of obscure words. Big time.

He's a guy that learned his whole life how to drive race cars, only to be relegated to interpreting the safety guidelines of racing.

Or the Packers. Aaron Rodgers would kill to have a defense that actually brings pressure (since Clay Matthews and A.J. Hawk have slowed down in recent years).
