Even idiots in Buffalo should know better than to shovel snow for 20 hours straight just to watch their pathetic team lose 3 straight. It's gonna happen.
I believe we will lose this game behind a few turnovers. Bills are a better team this year. I hope we win though.
This is all I'm lookin forward to at this point. Looking at the playoff picture earlier we have a chance to ruin their season along with Miami's and potentially finish the season Not in last place in the division. Suck for the duck sounds cool and all but i really can't get jiggy with rooting for my team to lose.
Not being able to practice definitely gives the Jets an edge. I could see the game being moved though. What is crazy is it's only Mid-November!
Hopefully Amaro and Harvin keep showing signs of improvement, Pryor won't be able to shine yet our DB's are in shambles from safety all the way to #1 Corner so I don't expect much from him this season. Vick has been a huge disappointment this season even though he's Peyton compared to Geno, still has looked terrible. We really need a damn QB already I'm sick and tired of years of ineptitude on offense how about we score 30+ points in a game for fucking once. It seems like every other team in the league can pass for 250+ yards every game except the Jets.
I've been as down on this team as anybody this year but I have an odd feeling about this game. Not only do I think we're going to win, but I think it will be comfortable. Not that this offense will blow anybody out, but something like 27-7 is what I'm looking for. Buffalo just doesn't scare me. They are going to go in overconfident after the last game and think that they are better than they really are. Sigh, I'm a SOJF....
I'm expecting a big day from the D-line & RB group (including vick's feet) 24-13 Jets (the score will look much closer than the beating we put on em)
I saw only the first half of the Buffalo Miami game last Thursday. Hate to say it but Miami's D looks very good. That was probably the main reason the Bills lost, that and i think their starting Rb's were out? But the Bills D is very good, too. Much as I am very happy that the Jets are starting Vick, the real contest here will be whether the Jets can run the ball. It is far from clear they will be able to. Odds are the Jets lose this one, unfortunately. Perhaps the Bills' inability to practice may tip this to the Jets, though.
Now that the game is officially in Detroit, how does it help/hurt the Jets? Gameplan has to change from snowy conditions to a dome for sure. That can be fixed with an extra day of practice. Not sure who has the edge now.
I hope we lose. At this point, just want a good draft pick out of next year. Well, good draft pick and new coaching staff.
If this team (coming off of a bye week, a big upset win, a full week of practice, and being embarrassed at home by Buffalo a few weeks ago) loses to a Bills team that is cold (literally and figuratively) especially their QB, had less practice time this week than the Jets, and is now playing a home game in Detroit... It will probably be the final nail in the coffin for Rex Ryan in my eyes.
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/f...tation-urges-fans-root-jets-article-1.2019642 Jets may be able to have a bit of a "home field" advantage if Lions fans cheer against Buffalo to spite DC Jim Schwartz, who was carried off the field by the Bills players in victory earlier in the season. I could see that, but I guess it depends on how many Bills fans decide to actually show up.
The Jets can win the game for sure, as Buffalo has looked bad lately, but the Jets are 2-8 themselves. If Vick and O can score, Jets win.
Probably depends on how many Bills fans live near Detroit. Most of the working class in Buffalo has missed half a week of work with the travel ban, same with school children. Can't imagine that more than 1000 or so will make the trip on a lost season.
