Thought some would enjoy this --

At practice on Friday, the Jets defensive line went through receiver drills as each faced off 1-on-1 on each other and Dunbar threw them passes. Leger Douzable beat Wilkerson bad, then dropped the pass.

Here's what he had to say about the drop --some hysterical quotes-- along with a link to the video (in story).

Wilk was celebrating because he learned how to play db from watching Wilson.

Cuz they're the only position group that has their job down pat. :)

I know it was just a drill, but Douzable has excellent speed and lateral movement for a DL, he always surprises the hell out of me. Still don't want to see him on the offense, though.

Because they want to at least TRY to create more turnovers I suppose lol...it'd be nice for someone to hang onto a INT. Or this is just what's replacing Dave and Buster's this year for goofball entertainment.

Remember when he jumped offsides last year in punt defense? That will forever be known to me as commiting a "Douzable".

Should that play stand out to me more than all of the defensive plays he's made since?

It's not like Leon Lett shoving the ball through the endzone on Thanksgiving here.

I'm a big fan of Douzable. Great depth guy, versatile...can easily start, as well as provide effective rotation. Very well liked by teammates and coaches. only costs 1M.
He's probably the best example of Idzik finding value, and the coaching staff getting the most out of that value.
Wish we had another 5-10 guys like that.

unfortunately with coaching staff likely gone, as well as maybe Idzik, i don't expect Douzable will be re-signed for 2015. He'll cash in a little with a new team in 2015.
In the meantime, i wouldn't mind seeing the big fella out there for an offensive snap. at this point, why not? would rather see him block then go iso on a DB tho. lol

At this point we need our existing TE's(other than Amaro) to be our "offensive" J.J. Watt. Maybe THEY ought to be doing those damn drills.

It was a defensive drill that turned into a fun article. You're whining now.

The part about the video that impressed me the most was the throw! Maybe we can pass on Mariota and Winston and suit up Dunbar
