bad throws happen, bad decisions happen but he bounced back and gave us a late lead which, of course, our D blew.
No where near a tie IMO. If you are going to take a shot the earlier downs is the best time to take it. If that ball is on time and doesn't die mid-flight, it's more likely an incompletion as it is Hill he was throwing to. He under threw Hill by at least 10 yards allowing the trailing CB who was completely out of position to make a play all of the sudden be in position to make a play. It looked like one of the many INTs Favre threw at the end of the 08 season.
I agree that you take the shot if it's there, but I disagree in regards to the timing. All indications were that the shot down the field was not there, so you live to play another down. He had time to look at what was going on and take the check-down for the first down. That was a bad decision, too many defenders around. Take the check-down and play another down. I doubt Hill even gets that ball even if he doesn't under throw it, there are 2 defenders around Stephen Hill. Favre at the end of the 2008 season just awful. Not only injured but he really did make bad decisions all season long and to me he didn't have a good season with the Jets, a very overrated one by the fans.
I am just glad the real Sanchez showed up because after the Carolina game I caught hell all week from several Eagles fans about how he produced on a real football team. This week it is beautiful silence because there is plenty of humble pie being served. I used to support Sanchez, and I would always blame Schotty for his short comings. He was inflated way beyond his capabilities. He was an embarrassment that Rex helped perpetuate just like he did with Geno. Rex wrote checks that Mark could not cash.
Come on... everybody knows when the whole team is doing good sanchez does good too.. If he gets hit a few times and makes some bad passes and the team is losing his vagina starts show. He sits on the sideline with his helmet on by himself grabbing his face mask with his eyes all big and watery, pouting like a child. Thats the pussy in sanchez that got him ran outta NY. Hope Philly's defense and special teams can continue to win them games (HEY SOUND FAMILIAR!?) or he'll have a rude awakening come offseason.
TROLLS/SUPPORTERS : Speak now or forever hold your peace. Say what you want to say now before today's performance. Ima usin Tapatalkie.
Just saw in Newsday that the Mark game is on in the area on CBS. Vs NEP against Detroit on Fox. So plenty of teams (and players) to root against! Go Lions!
Yep cuz of the Jets game getting moved, at least the entire NY area can mire Mark Sanchez today. Must win game, he cannot lose this game, and he will not =p.
I suppose Sanchez gets a pass on that INT from the brigade because Cooper didn't fight hard enough to break up the INT.
Wait , Sanchez threw an int ? I just went to grab something and been away for five minutes. Ima usin Tapatalkie.
Trent Green is offering up that excuse for Mark but he hasn't seen 62 starts like we have. I liked the way Chip opened up the game with the emphasis on McCoy but he's going back to pass first even when they are deep inside Titans territory. Mark's pick leads to Tenn. TD and gets them back into game.
