Very often when a team has a great game on Sunday, they say "well we had a great week of practice." If Buffalo hasn't been able to practice at all and The Jets have, what does that say for this week's match up?
During the season I don't think it's that important at the NFL level. They are barely doing anything anyway. A lot of it is a little overrated because everyone knows everyone so well anyway. Buffalo should be fine because they can game plan remotely - which is what they'd be doing anyway. From the physical standpoint I'd say it's a little more important for those guys battling injuries. They can get treatment and try to run through and get comfortable. So maybe there is the importance. But overall it's "coachspeak" and during the season it's overrated. Just my opinion
I'm sure the film room/meetings are more important with the upcoming opponent preparation. As long as you aren't preparing for something specific, which the Bills would prob be doing since they'll be going against Vick, then I can't see it being that much of an issue.
A lot of teams do playbook installs over the course of the season so they won't be able to catch the Jets off guard with anything new unless they want to try something they haven't practiced. There's also a lot of team specific gameplanning where coaches draw up plays to exploit certain weaknesses in the opponent. That being said the Bills have already played 10 games together including 1 against the Jets so I don't think missing practice will terribly hurt them. Though Jets coaches will be able to assume the Bills are going with a similar gameplan to the last game.
mediocre? That's a.500 team we are 2-8, I could think of a few select words to properly describe this team
