I didnt say ibaka was a star i said we have more than just "two stars" now meaning there is other solid players around the "two stars". And if you appreciate Ibaka for his defense, and deadly mid-range shooting... he's knocking on the door of becoming one, but i know he's not quite there yet. All im trying to say is it's gonna be a more team oriented thunder this year as opposed to KD iso Westbrook iso. I'm sure you aren't watching the watered down thunder games but i watch each game closely and i have reason to be excited going forward. If you wanna knock OKC for coaching cool... i can accept that.. Scott Brooks MAY hold us back like he's done before.. but don't talk about this roster as if they don't have the players to win a ring. IF they don't then i guess people label us contenders year in and year out just because they like our team logo or something idk what else it is.
Away teams rarely win game sevens on the road. And in order to get to the finals the Thunder, may have to beat the three best teams in the West, in three seven game series. You don't get respect until you win a title, in my book. Of OKC wins a title I'll give them respect, but until then I won't. I respect franchises such as the Spurs, the Lakers and the Celtics(although I hate them), and other proven franchises.
Are you kidding me? The Heat were the better team, we beat you in five, and you're complaining about refs? The Heat knew how to close out games, and had a good offensive system. It's been two years since those finals, and your team still has some of those same flaws they displayed in the 2012 NBA Finals.
No you havent, that was the best Thunder team they have ever had. The bottomline is, the same problems that were around in 2011 and 2012 are still around today. They wont win a championship until they out the head coach. Everyone knows it, heck even the fans want him out from what I understand. The clock is ticking on OKC because Durants leaving after 2016..... and now they have an excuse to bring back Scott Brooks for next season, so R.I.P the Thunder as we know em.
Im not even bias... But i will not sit here and agree that the thunder can't go toe to toe with any team in the west.. and would be the favorite over every team in the west not named San Antonio. They talking about the thunder like they have never shown capabilities of being champions.. or like we haven't consistently dominated seasons over and over to be the top 2 seed. They were talking this way before the injuries and all of that. That right there just seems blasphemous to me. All these teams that are said to be better here are teams that haven't even made it pass the 2nd round in years give me a break.
Same exact flaws, nothing has changed, its still Westbrook taking the shots. The Thunder continuing to take low percentage shots over and over, nothing has changed at all, its not a winning formula. It might work for a playoff round, or two, or three, but eventually it catches up to them.
Yeah i don't see the clippers championship. That must mean they suck too. Every team sucks except the heat, and spurs.
lmao... joke. We have gotten better in all aspects.. including our record. Next. Im starting to get the hint that you guys just talking about ya ass now. Do research before you blurt your opinion all over the place
Guess so. Clippers and GS are also good teams that OKC wouldn't stand a chance against lmaoooooo. Clippers and Warriors fans wouldn't even say that bull shit.
It almost feels like they're just trying to piss us off. I'm not pissed, but it for sure is mind baffling. Saying a team is finished because they're probably not going to have a high seed is just beyond idiotic to me. I don't get how any knowledgeable fan can say that.
Yo lifelo idk what to call you for short lol, but have you heard any updates on kd or rus? I know they're getting close.
Rondo is miserable from the FT line to start the year so far. The other night he got fouled with 2 second left shooting a 3 down 4. He missed the 3 and then missed the first two FTs. Missed the third hopefully on purpose.
You want me to give OKC the benefit of the doubt, but I'm not going to. Why? Because they have not yet proven they can win a title. The Clippers won't have to win three games sevens on the road, because they'll end being a top three sees, OKC on the other hand may have to.
Any team that has comecourt in the first round has a better chance of winning the finals than the Thunder (San Antonio, LA Memphis, Dallas). Its mission impossible for the Thunder to win four straight road series, the West is so good right now.
