he played a good game the following week helping us win at Miami in OT where he threw a perfect pass in OT to Holmes in stride to set up GW FG. you look at stats, I watch games. he made plays to help us win. led us to TD to take the lead late before D allowed tying FG to send to OT and in OT set up GW FG. Holmes going down in '12 was worse than any decent player going down b/c Keler was already hurt and we had to start the likes of Chaz Schilens & Clyde Gates. Chaz was supposed t be our #5 WR and possibly cut yet he wound up starting later in the year.
That's right junc... when you have nothing to answer -- attack the poster's personality/style and try to switch debate into completely different and unrelated direction. Works every time, because everyone but you is just dumb enough to not notice the slight of hand.
Umm no? the conditions are he has won 2 games and lost 1. Thats the conditions, thats the facts, thats not my opinion. Lets see if he can get to 3-1 and play .750 football over four games.
Yeah, we haven't heard that one before. If Mark played better the game would have been decided in regulation rather than OT. Like I said though, Mark is easily rattled - that link I posted before, it was the game-plan prior to kickoff.
These: 1) only "non-garbage time" plays count 2) there must be no questionable calls (or non-calls) from refs 3) Sanchez's team must not be trailing by more then... 7 (?) points 4) every player on Mark's team must perform at 100% efficiency 5) The opponent must not be stronger than...??? (AZ, DET, DAL, NO ??) So games against GB (NE, DEN, SD ??) don't count. Are excuses you, Junc, Hoobes, etc gave for the loss/TO/overthows from this year SB winning QB. I'm not arguing, I'm just summarizing and noting for the future.
it was asinine, all you did was make stuff up. why I am even responding to you I don't know. don't you know if they win it's b/c the other team sucks. Never mind Mark is the worst QB in the league and shouldn't be able to win any games. it's just pathetic excuses as usual.
It's just a short summary of your collective excuses. Because the truth stings Quote me ever saying this or stop making stuff up
Maybe or if other players played better maybe we don't go to OT? who knows but we did go to OT after he led a TD drive to give us a late lead and he led us to a chip shot FG to win it in OT. No one could have been in a more rattling situation than the 2010 title game at Pitt so why did he almost lead us back from 24-0 down if he is easily rattled? poor play and being rattled don't always go hand in hand.
Maybe if Mark completed more passes and didn't turn the ball over twice, we would have won in regulation. Works both ways. Glad we won that game because I hate the fucking fish, but he didn't play well until OT. I give him credit for that. Again, not talking about 2009 or 2010. I'm talking about 2011-2013. Mark took some brutal hits. He's easily rattled at this stage of the game. He's not the same QB that stood firmly in the pocket and took a shot from a Chargers defender as he delivered the strike to Dustin Keller in the Jets-Chargers playoff game.
Very possible and again maybe if a RB gained more yds or if a WR caught a ball they dropped or if the D doesn't allow a late FG, etc... the bottom line is it went to OT and he helped us win. rattled in 2012, anyone would be w/ Gates, Reuland and Schilens as weapons. He wasn't rattled in the 1st half the other day but in desperate times he made mistakes and now he was "rattled". Poor play does not mean rattled
and that was the Colts playoff game not the Charger playoff game, the Charger TD he made w/ his legs buying time before throwing a perfect pass to Keller which looked a lot like a TD to Maclin 2 weeks ago.
Yeah my bad it was the Colts game. Good throw though, really good throw. I disagree, he looked very good on the first couple of drives, Clay Matthews hit him pretty hard in that 2nd QTR, he also took a tough hit in the first QTR also. For Mark, the poor play was because he was rattled. He wasn't playing poor prior to the hits.
I never said Mark was why they lost, I did say he didn't help by only leading the team to 6 points in the first half. Lots of fingers to go around but when you're the QB of the 5th best offense. We were obviously watching two different games, the helmet to helmet was firsts contact to the body that slid up the body in to the helmet. That should never be called, especially when the the QB starts coiling in to the fetal position just before the hit. It was a good non call. Again, you just weaken your own case by claiming that he needed the Helmet on helmet penalty to be called on a sack in order to keep his play relevent....in other words you're admitting mark needs the other team to commit a foul in order to succeed.
Didn't see the game but wanted to jump in and chime that Sanchez SUCKS!!! Sanchez Kicking Ass In Philly Post by: legler82, Nov 10, 2014 in forum: National Football League
LOL @ the bold. You act as though this thread is being shoved up your ass. Oh wait...maybe it is…as you were.
You apparently have never seen Tom Brady or Peyton Manning play football. Usually their pockets are clean and/or they get rid of the ball faster than the time it takes for the pressure to get home. But on the rare occasions that it does those 2 will lay down faster than a $2 hooker.
