I was rooting for Sanchez, but he just isn't starting caliber material. He'll go out and win you a game when the majority of the team is playing well, but when its time to step up and carry a team he falls way flat. Sorry buddy, but you're best for the bench.
Nick Foles would've hung 50 on Carolina last week and would've atleast had the Eagles within 21 today. Atleast.
As much as I think Sanchez sucks and didn't necessarily do anything to help out, this game was lost by the entire team. Terrible D, special teams, turnovers. Sanchez was getting blasted early on, including at least one shot to the helmet that wasn't called and a late hit. The pick to Peppers was classic bad Sanchez but this game was pretty much in the bag already. It bugs me that people are going to sit here and overreact to every game he plays
Have you been watching the Eagles. Foles has sucked this year, and in fact he's the main reason why they lost to Arizona and San Francisco. You guys were just waiting for Sanchez to implode, because god knows you don't want to see him succeed in a different jersey. Onstesd you'd rathee have us keep Rex!
This is a different Green Bay team. Their OL is playing much better, Clay Matthews is finally healthy, and their offense as a whole is finally clicking.
Um blown coverage was the reason they lost to Arizona..and he nearly brought them all the way back against San Fran. Put Sanchez in both of those positions and see what he does. Chances are neither games are even close with him as the QB. Why wouldnt I be waiting for it? We all knew it was coming. He wasnt all of the sudden going to develop into a Pro Bowler. But if you think that Foles "sucks" I dont think there is a word out there that could describe Marky Mark.
True, but I think this is the Eagles finally being exposed, and it's hardly on sanchez. I think they're nowhere near as good as they've been playing and they've been relying way too heavily on special team returns and turnovers. Even with foles, I didn't think they were up there with the top teams. It was a matter of time before the returns stopped coming and they fell to earth.
Foles threw two interceptions in the redzone, have you been watching Philly? This is why we're regarded as a crappy fanbase. You guys are hoping he implodes, to make yourselves feel better about our crappy team and season . Ridiculous. He makes a great play, and you're not here. But when he makes a mistake, you're one of the first posters here trashing him.
Gotta balance out the posters who go crazy over him and hope for a reunion. The Eagles are in big trouble right now and its going to be known in Philly. Sanchez is now on the hot seat and under tons of pressure. And the only reason he is playing right now is because Foles got hurt. No one thought Foles was playing poorly when he went down. Was he playing as well as he did last year? No. But lets not get crazy and think that he was the reason Philly lost 2 games. Picks or not. He can make throws that Sanchez cant. And if he's able to come back from injury he will step right back into the starting job.
