Kobe thinks he's indestructible. Tried to play while sick, he's too old for that.

And not on a good enough of team to hide him.

That kobe thing was beat to death yesterday. It's pretty much a non story to me. I'm just surprised they kept it close, with him having such an off night.

The West is looking better than last year, especially with teams like Memphis and Dallas, who I believe can do some serious damage in the west.....they could both win it tbh.

I just want to make the playoffs. We can win it all, but we have to get in first.

Not buying it, Thunder won't win without homecourt. Dallas, Memphis, Clippers are all on equal footing with them, the Spurs are better. If the Thunder have to go through three rounds without homecourt, it would be quite the accomplishment.

The Thunder fans here refuse to admit this. They seriously think they can get in as the 8th seed, and beat the Spurs, Warriors, Clippers, and Cavs without homecourt advantage in three potential seven game series. I just don't see it, but if they do defy the odds, it will be one of the greatest postseason runs in NBA history.

Yep and last season the Grizzlies had them on the ropes, (lost Randolph for game 7), then the Clippers despite the owner drama, were on the verge of going up 3-2 before a 7 pt lead in final minute+ref making a major mistake, then of course the Spurs knocked them out in the WCF. The Thunder could have lost the first two rounds and lost the third..... And that was with homecourt in round one and two. Without homecourt it's just not happening, they will lose to Memphis, Dallas, San Antonio, Los Angeles if they play any of them in round one.

It's scary that OKC has to basically watch the standings this early in the season.

I do think OKC has the cards stacked against them if they have to start without HC and run on the road to the finals, BUT I feel like the statement is true, if OKC makes it they can win it. It's not that ridiculous, it will just be much more difficult than anyone though heading into the season.

What has to happen besides the upsets and all of that, the Thunder backups/role players have to grow up in this stretch without KD or Westbrook. That's how the Heat and Spurs have had success. Yes their stars show up, but Chalmes, Cole, Neal, Mills, etc have all stepped up and made huge plays during their championship runs.

They all need to grow up in a sense, they don't know how to win and close the deal. They blew the finals which wasn't suprising due to youth but last year they were on the verge of getting eliminated twice and then were eliminated by the Spurs. It will be three stages of hell in the west alone this year for em, but if they could make it through the west then I see no reason why they couldn't win the finals.

I don't think they blew the finals, I think the Heat were better coached and more talented team.

The next year Westbrook got hurt in the playoffs. The next year Ibaka was hurt. Saying all that, and with all the success Brooks has coached them too, I think he has to be the guy that takes his game to the next level for the Thunder to win. He has his moments, BUT rotations not being staggered, some substitutions, insistence on playing big, with the talent that team has, it's confusing.

Heck I do not believe there is a team in this league that could win 4 straight road series....it would be one of the great playoff runs of all time if they can do it this season.

Houston did it in '95, but I agree soxxx. If OKC can get the fifth seed, I can see them winning it all.

I know Houston did it but that was in 94, and the West is really good right now, very tall task.

All anyone brings up is how OKC almost lost in 2 rounds last year. It's funny how the same people don't even mention that the Spurs were brought to game 7 in the first round too. OKC just needs to be healthy. The past 2 seasons when it mattered, they haven't been. If they're healthy going into this post season, I wouldn't bet against them. I'm not saying I'd bet ON them, but nonetheless, not betting against them.

I must not fucking understand basketball or something, because 2 drives in a row we had the ball, and the refs just blew it dead as offensive foul for NO REASON. We didn't hit anybody, didn't stand in the way, didn't run anybody over. They just stopped it. The 1 time Adams was literally just standing there, and he got a foul. I swear to god whatever team I root for in any sport gets more bullshit calls than anyone else. /rant

Yall annoying... CLIPPERS WILL NOT BEAT OKC in 7 games! Home court or not, they have nothing for Kevin Durant and Westbrook. We beat them all the time. We are 1-1 with the spurs in the WCF finals and whooped them all but twice in the 8 games between those meetings (and one of them was a buzzer beater win), with and without westbrook. Dallas? lmfao... shut up. It doesnt matter what seed OKC gets. Teams are BARELY beating us as a depleted and short handed team. These injuries are a blessing in disguise watch come play off time when KD and Westbrook wont have to do everything alone. Our bench will be used to playing as starters and thrive over other benches later in the season. Yall gonna hate me when we win the chip this year i swear
