That running games going to have to do some work for a Philly win, Rodgers is on fire, Eagles defense is hurting with big injuries, they can't put it all on Sanchez this game. Play some keepaway, score in the red zone and send Trent Cole and Barwin at that depleted OL without blitzing too heavily and they can pull out a win. GB is a little overrated that defense is shit that team is all Rodgers.

Hobbes doesn't get much NY news because he's been suspended upside down with his head in a loaded pickle jar.

holy 40 pages in a week.

he had one good game, against a TERRIBLE defense. take it easy fellas. if he is still playing well 3 weeks from now THEN you can talk about what he is doing so well.

and it still doesnt matter because THANK GOD he is no longer on this team.

Please tell me again why you're even remotely relevant to a football discussion?

All of these things are true, but only to a degree. BTW you can coach fundamentals, you can't coach bad decision making or more precisely poor field vision and reaction. You can't make the game "Slow down" for players, it either happens or it doesn't. I'm looking forward to this Sunday's game, it will be more clear where Mark is after this game as it's the first midling to upper defense he's faced. If he does well in the next game he'll have earned praise.

You play innocent really nice Junc, but when you bring up Peyton and then use Peytons first year struggles to elevate Mark's play in comparison...well....it is what it is.

Because I'm not convinced he'll succeed in the Eagles system, and they have many more dynamic players and a vastly superior offensive line. In short if Mark doesn't succeed there he won't succeed anywhere. He has the best of everything.

Oh wait, you're back now and you want to revisit your same old tired boring bullshit?

Why don't you just wait until he gets crushed against the Pack in Lambeau, it's coming.

Btw, I seem to be able to carry on football conversations with plenty of folks here.

Please tell me again why you are obsessively compulsed to shit on an ex-Jet after he's played a nice game or two?

Maybe do it again but with some irrelevant metrics and spread sheets and fake stats from 3 or 4 years ago when he was on a different team with a different offensive philosophy with a different shoulder with a different maturity with different players around him.

Go ahead, I'm just dying to read them again.

If the Eagles lose (Packers are favored by 5 1/2 and all of the analysts are predicting a Packers win) it will be because of Aaron Rodgers, not the weather. :)

You are not going to have much success trying to change a guy's mechanics and footwork once they get to the pros. By then they've spent at least a decade on average honing the way they throw the ball, from to stance, to wind up, to throwing motion to release. Tebow is one of the hard workers out there, he futilely tried to change his throwing mechanics. Unfortunately, it was muscle memory by that point. Whereas good coaching and scheme can curb bad decisions. I saw Parcells and Weiss, make Vinny Testaverde look like the poster child for ball security after establishing a 10+ years career of being a human turnover. I also believe the game slows down for everyone just at different rates. With regards to your praise, Mark better get his mind right for this game as a lot more is at stake than just keeping pace with AZ.

I expect Green Bay to win, (I mean who doesnt ? even if Peyton was playing I would still side with Green Bay) BUT if the Eagles can win this game, my god, it will go a VERY long way. It would put the Eagles in position to get a bye week, and help Detroit win the division. If you are rooting for Sanchez, you want the Cardinals and Lions to win their divisions, because that means the Eagles wont ever have to go Seattle, Green Bay, or New Orleans in the playoffs if the Eagles can win the division.

    Fly Sanchez fly ............

Nyjatw here reporting live from green bay! We received 2 inches of snow last night, but all systems go today. It's roughly 20° with no snow during game projected.

This will be my jets game this week. I'll be watching it closely, rooting for Mark, and a GB win.

Eagles are 7 of 7 in the redzone for touchdowns since Sanchez came in, according to CBS.
