People seem to be more concerned with being right than anything. I was wrong about both Geno, Sanchez, Hill, Greene, many others and I can fully concede that. It doesn't bother me. This is becoming a personal thing.
It's weird how people count dropped/out of bounds picks, but not dropped passes and miscommunications. You can't count one without counting the other. We'll see if Sanchez can be a 40 attempt per week guy. He's never been in a good offense. In 2011, his best chance, he did produce a lot of TD's, but also turned the ball over. He has to cut down on turnovers. He looks like the Sanchez we thought we were getting out of USC right now: incredible feet in the pocket, very athletic, with above average arm strength, and solid accuracy. It just blows my mind that we couldn't find a competent OC. Not saying he would have done better, but he wasn't exactly given the greatest opportunity.
17 incompletions is 17 incompletions. No matter how ya slice em. Maybe some were miscommunications but the drops were poorly thrown balls. Its not like he would've completed 70 percent if not for drops/miscommunications. But like I said before were gonna see what Sanchez is all about the next couple weeks. Green Bay, Dallas twice, Seattle. Gonna be tough for him. I dont doubt that he will be able to move the ball and point up some points in that offense but he just wont be accurate. Has he ever completed more than 60 percent of his passes in a season? I dont think he has. Games like he had might beat bad teams like Carolina. They wont beat the teams that they have coming up though.
