Kind of does. For example, depending on what offensive system we are running I might want him back but I don't think the Jets would bring him back because of the optics.

They could have a signing ceremony where he climbs out of the Hefty bag he was thrown to the side of the road in.

It would almost be as epic as the Favre "here's your almost-key to the city" ceremony.

    Count me in.

Hey if you would have to deal with the blatant admittance of failure bringing him back would represent, might as well embrace it and go full throttle.

I've made better arguments for Mark Sanchez than you think you have. Take off the white knight armor, little man.

Wait…I just realized Byz you mistook the "you" pronoun in my last comment as me referring to you…LOL. I'm talking about the organization. You are an impetuous one for sure.

GOD NO. Four years of the worst quarterbacking in the league was more than enough for me. The reason he's not here is because he simply couldn't stop giving the ball to the other team. The same reason Geno is finished here. There's no reason to think he's suddenly going to change just because he played one good game in a tuxedo.

First you losers run him out of town, throwing every pile of flaming dog shit on him that you can, and now that you found out the guy you left him for is worse, you go begging back? LOL.

I keep coming back to this forum because of stuff like this. It really is the comic relief at the end of the long day that makes it all worth while! Jets fans are like the guy who cheats on the girl next door for a quick booty call, and once you found out you got herpes, wonder if the girl next door will take you back? BAHAHAHAHAHA!

Get real. Sanchez doesnt want YOU. Not the other way around.

Weird how you disregard the drops, miscommunications, yards, and TD's.

Sanchez would have to play really well.

And what that would show me more then anything is that Rex really isn't capable of developing a QB.

I know it's a QB friendly system in Philly and most people including Gruden and Dilfer seem to think any decent QB could have success in it, but still.

I think Sanchez can still be a good starting qb. He was actually starting to turn the corner in his third season until the final three games when he was put in situations where he was forcing stuff. You can see that right now in Philadelphia.

He was poorly coached with the Jets.

With that said, he'd have a difficult time living down the butt fumble if he came back (among other things). So it's probably better for both parties if he didn't.

I know most Jets fans are idiots, but are you serious with this statement? If we didn't cut Sanchez he was due $11.5 million in '14 and $14 million in '15. If his salary numbers were what the Eagles are paying him this year (a little over $2m) there is no way we would have cut him loose. You can thank Tanny for that gem of a contract.

There's more of a chance of Revis coming back than there is of Sanchez coming back, and there's about a .00001 percent chance of Revis coming back.

Drops because of inaccuracy..miscommunications? Isnt that what constitutes an incompletion? If there was perfect communication on every throw he wouldn't have incompleted any of em.

Yardage? He threw the ball 37 times. Of course the yardage is going to be a decent number. Newton threw for over 300 yards and 2 scores as well. Did he have a great game too?

Kelly is going to realize sooner or later that isnt the way to win with Sanchez. Different system/gameplan or not he's not the type of QB to throw the ball 40 times.

And I guess Carolina being 31st in pass D this season doesnt matter either.

Eagles tests get a little harder from here on out. If Sanchez delivers I will gladly eat crow. But Im not getting moist over 1 slightly above average game against a shit defense.
