Watch games. What book blew your football mind? Did you watch any games? God you don't get it, nor do you understand football!
How do we know, Geno hasn't got to throw one pass for Chip Kelly yet...... When he does though, look out Nacho fan boys. It will be back to the bench again for your favorite QB of all time. You know his name, you know his stats. 71-70 TD's to picks!! Yes Nacho is the greatest ever. Keep believing it. Wait until he plays a good defense. What's gonna be your excuses? He has everything around him to have sustained success. Who you gonna blame when he plays like the QB who sucked for our team? The fans/haters? What a joke!
I won't be bitter if Sanchez ends up being a franchise caliber player for Philly (which is likely premature). He ended his career with the Jets on a sour note. The Jets made a mockery of him, and at times, he made himself a mockery through his own doing. Nonetheless, I want to see him succeed somewhere and I will be rooting for him if he's still around for the playoffs.
Yeah, Geno > Sanchez.... defensive genius.... the pig is ripe. As Jon Stewart would say, time for a good ole' fashion wrong-off, boys! Back up the truck! *beep, beep, beep, beep, beep*
This thread title should be changed by the mods to... Sanchez is awesome... just awesome. (all Sanchez praise here)
What's funny is all the haters on Twitter who were bashing Sanchez while he was here, are now turning around pretending that they always supported and believed in him and that he would be doing this here on the Jets right now. In the next breath they then move on to say Rex should be fired, the Jets talent stinks, and their defense is garbage. So yeah, funny how peoples perspective changes once he's off the Jets.
Well Mark looked good last night. When he started pump faking it was a pretty good sign he was comfortable. I still have my doubts but it would be silly to try and downplay how good he's looked so far. One thing they did a really good job of last night was keeping him clean for the most part.
I forgot how good he was with play action. Let's be honest Mark's issue was never talent he showed that with the Jets. The argumenta about pocket presence and accuracy where well just wrong. Marks' s issue is confidence. Just as Braylon said Mark got down quick. What Sanchez did yesterday was what he was showing when he got hurt with the Jets. I will be sold completely on MS when he has to handle adversity. he is not 20 anymore he just turned 28 and lots to have matured. As others have said he is much better that Geno.
I think it was the right decision to move on from Sanchez for both his and the Jets' best interests. It seems like he's found a terrific situation in Philly, something that I'm confident he wouldn't have gotten here in 2013 & 2014. I can do nothing but root for him to continue having success.
this is one of the least informed posts I have ever seen here. at Cin was nearly perfect, had 3 incompletions w/ 2 of them drops including what would have been about a 50 yd TD pass to Braylon. was excellent at SD, Greene didn't tear anything apart, he had the one huge run and not much else. outside of that run the run game was not very effective. Mark had 2-3 huge plays to help us win while the "elite" veteran on the other side kept turning it over. had no threat of run game in 2nd half against 2 elite pass rushers, had no chance. at Ind WC game: struggled in 1st half, excellent in 2nd half. run game got us going but needed to convert a bunch of big 3rd downs and did and when he got a chance to win it in the final minute set up a chip shot to win it. at Pitt: got us w/in a score, D couldn't get the ball back. he has been outstanding in his postseason career overall.
It was the wrong decision. You don't get rid of someone until you find someone better. Clearly Geno was a downgrade.
